  • Perfect!

"Just spent 6 days at 29 Poplar with 8 adults and 8 kids. We've rented many homes and this one by far was the most well stocked! Every possible kitchen item you can think of. Great location with easy access to Sharc, bike trails etc. We will return to this home in hears to come. The Owner Gordon was very quick to respond to email and text messages and was a pleasure to work with."

  • Wonderful Home!

"We've just returned from a week in Oregon and our stay at this home was terrific! The accommodations were wonderful, the house well stocked with all the necessities, the neighborhood peaceful and the hot tub a great way to end a day spent in the great outdoors. From this house we played golf in La Pine, rode bikes through Sun River (bikes provided at the house), spent an evening at the rodeo, visited friends in Bend, floated the river, and much much more. This house was everything you see in the description, and more, and the owners were wonderful to work with and very responsive. We would highly recommend this house and will book it again when we're traveling to Oregon."

  • Great location - unit needs upgradingt

"We loved the convenience of this unit to the Village and the unit was clean and spacious enough. This unit could use some updates- and it seems rather dark. Sounds as if the owner doesn't really care to do that as he describes himself as more "scotch than irish," and if others don't care and the price is very reasonable then these comments really don't matter. But a couple of things should be addressed - the frig should be replaced as it is so noisy - my husband suffers from severe tinnitus so when we are in the unit in the living room we have to turn it off. Maybe that wouldn't bother other persons but even I found it noisy. TV is minimal. A couple of lamps don't work but we didn't use that room so that didn't matter. We were not unhappy because it was not advertised as luxury and the price was right. It just looks dated - e.g. kitchen etc and bedspreads; and the wood paneling is nice but the wallpaper is dark - it should be removed and painted something light coloring. I realize that is probably not what the owner wants to do and it is certainly not unlivable. It is a good value. I give 3 stars for the unit itself and 5 stars for location...so will give it 4 stars averaged out."

  • Cozy, well located Sunriver cabin with good amenities

"My son and I stayed here at the end of July, 2016 for 5 days/4 nights as our home away from home during a lacrosse tournament in Bend. I can't speak highly enough of the owner, Chris, and his personal, friendly approach. This this cabin was perfect; we would highly recommend staying here for couples or families of 4-6. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location was not too far from the Sunriver Village, bike paths are just across the road and provide very easy walking (10-15 mins) or cycling (5 mins). The cabin itself was very clean and cozy - loved the extensive use of wood in the interior. The bedrooms were functional and comfortable and my son loved the loft. Bathrooms were solid and functional. The dining room table doubled as an office desk and eating space. The internet was a little slower than we are used to, but Chris worked with me to make the most of it and, by now I think there's a new, high-speed modem installed. The kitchen and pantry had everything we needed and worked well. We also used the grille to cook for a couple of nights and ate outside on the nice deck. The included washer and dryer were very helpful after a long, sweaty day. And the bikes that were provided got us all around Sunriver, even out to the Marina for SUP activities. We were not able to use the included SHARC passes, but it was nice to know that we had that option. You won't be sorry you stayed here."
