  • Beautiful home, perfect location!

"We enjoyed our stay at this spacious, beautifully furnished, and well-equipped home. Does and their fawns strolled by each day and even lingered to visit with our delighted grandchildren who kept calling to them to come closer. The hot tub and deck were our favorite hangout, but the extra table also provided a perfect spot for us to set up a puzzle for indoor entertainment. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning made sleeping upstairs possible. Loved the large tub in the master bathroom. The only drawback was the noise in the master bath, which we at first thought was a woodpecker. Apparently the fan is catching the breeze and banging consistently, which interrupted our sleep. Thank you for providing a lovely home for our family vacation."

  • Cute, comfortable place to stay.

"This house was perfect for us. Nothing fancy, but after a long day of lacrosse we weren't looking for fancy but for something that was quiet and relaxing which this was. You do have neighbors, but they really are not that close to bother you. The St. Bernard to the right is very friendly and likes to say hello. I think he wanted to play with our dogs more then anything. We did have deer a few times. I would recommend this place. The manger was awesome. She answered all my questions, got back to me in a timely manner, and all her emails were friendly. I can't wait for next years lacrosse tournament so we can stay here again!"

  • Thanksgiving nightmare to a dream

"If you take one thing away from this review you need to know that no matter what the owners will take care of you. We arrived late the night before thanksgiving after a long drive on icy roads. The house was cold but directions were clear on how to get things up and running. We went to bed as fast as we could and when we awoke in the morning we did not have any water. The pipes had froze during a frigid night. Today was Thanksgiving and everyone was trying to celebrate with families. To make a long story short the owners worked hard, taking time away from their families, to correct this as soon as possible. We had water on that evening and were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. Then the night before we left the power went out at the ranch in our area due to the cold weather. The owners really worked hard to make this work out for us and we deeply appreciate it. The home has all the essentials for a cozy stay. It is close to a great trail, creek and small park. If you like to swim the pool is close but is open in warm weather. My only caution is that the stairs are quite steep. if you have small children that would be my only precaution."
