  • Great home for large group

"We have stayed at multiple houses in Sunriver and this is now one of our new favorites. It was great for our large group, spacious open floor plan, and lots of parking space. All of the bedrooms are large and very accommodating. The owners are very nice to work with and quick to respond. Thank you!"

  • Thanksgiving in Sunriver

"Sunriver Village was beautifully decorated for the lighting of the Christmas tree Saturday night. Santa was there along with a train for rides. People were skating on the ice rink. It started snowing during the festivities and it was beautiful. Vacasa took good care of us while we were there."

  • Lovely Home

"My entire family lives on the Coast, and we decided to go away this year for Thanksgiving. This was our first family holiday away from home, and we had a lovely time. Marlies and Chuck's home was just as it was described. The pictures are accurate. The house was clean and very well stocked. The kitchen is large, and could accommodate several cooks. We also had all of the amenities at the house that we needed. We had several small children with us, and loved that there was a sliding door in between the two ends of the house. It worked well when we needed to put the kids down for their nap, and could block out the noise from the kitchen area. We also loved the location, as it was a quick ride/walk to both the SHARC and the village. We would definitely rent this house again!"

  • Quiet and comfortable

"Upon arrival we noticed the house was much larger than we thought, judging simply from pictures. From the interior design to the wood and furniture everything was so cozy and warm. My daughter and I really enjoyed laying in front of the fire on the softest rug I think I have ever felt. The hot tub was new and clean. King size bed upstairs was super comfortable. Kitchen was fully loaded from what I could tell. We really liked the layout of the home in general. Nice quiet area in the woods. At night it was eerily quiet though. Plenty of other homes in the area, but near perfect silence. There were a couple of things that were minorly problematic or I thought was strange. The first was that there must be some kind of hornet's nest somewhere. I assume the loft area. Over the weekend I disposed of 7 slow moving hornets throughout the house. One on the floor of the kitchen, four on or near a bed in the loft and 2 in the master bathroom. I imagine it was just the cold pushing them inside toward the heat but still made it so my daughter didn't want to sleep in the loft area. The other thing I found strange was the fact that every window inside the house had some blinds or curtains except the master bathroom. Granted the window is fairly high up but just felt weird getting out of the shower with nothing to cover the window from anyone outside. Despite these things everything was wonderful overall and we had a great time."
