  • Fathers day weekend

"Pros-We had a wonderful time over Father day weekend at the property. The description is very accurate, and the house was in great shape. It had a kind of rustic feel to it, and it was well maintained. Perfect for a family with kids and pets. We would definitely stay there again. The (newer)hot tub was wonderful and very relaxing. SHARQ passes were a great benefit! The owner was great and very easy to deal with although they are not set up to pay through the VRBO site, everything went off without a hitch. Cons- No garage, and the 2-TV's and DVD player were very small and outdated (but then again, you're in Sunriver and you should be outside anyway)"

  • Felt like Home

"My friend and I stayed here after attending the Sisters Quilt Show. After a full day of quilt viewing, we were beat and just wanted to kick back and relax. This was the perfect spot for that. Away from traffic and noise, it's in a peaceful forest setting. The room is awesome, clean, private and well stocked with movies & books, a TV and DVD player. The kitchenette has some tableware and flatware, mugs and glasses. Coffee, tea and hot coco are available, along with servings of jam and peanut butter, coffee sweetener and creamer. There is a microwave, toaster, coffee pot and an electric pot for hot water. There are so many thoughtful little touches to this unit that makes it like being at home. The owners are wonderful people, very concerned that you are happy and comfortable. I wish we would have had the time to take them up on the offer of floating the river, maybe next time! This is a wonderful property, you won't be disappointed!"

  • nice luxury home

"The house was very nice, clean and everything worked. The only complaints I would have is no one was able to tell me they had a pack n play so we hauled ours up and they had one,. We really need a second refrigerator for food for a week and they only had one side by side frig and a wine frig. The way the house faces the sun pours into the kitchen the AM and you need sunglasses on a bright day in the house. There are no blinds on the very top row of windows and it is hard to block out the sun. It would be nice to have 2 coffee makers for a house that size- there is only one. Close walk to the Lake house was very nice and no construction in the immediate area so it was quiet. While there is no fencing, there is no water in the backyard for a child to wander into. We put our 2 year old in the laundry room in his pack n play and that was a great set up. Would have been nice to have bikes with the house as well. The air conditioning had to be kept at 72 degrees but in the afternoon when it was warm- like 85 outside, the a/c could not keep up and the house temp would climb to 77degrees. Most afternoons we are at the pool so we could deal with it- but in CA we are used to the air working better.Thank goodness it's a one story home. It was always comfortable for sleeping."
