  • Stunning Views

"This was a lovely property for a family get together of six people. The view is incredible from many areas of the house and the location is great. The single-level layout (no stairs even on entry) is a real plus for those with less mobility. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Everything was very clean. The living room could be set up better to allow for reading. We visited in late fall when it is dark by around 5:00 p.m. There was only a single lamp for reading in the large living room. We recommend adding an end-table and lamp between the two chairs, and also adding an end-table and lamp (or a floor lamp) between the end of the couch and the recliner. The second bedroom also lacked comfortable reading light. There was only one night table. We suggest adding a second night table and lamp so each person can read and have somewhere to put their phone, glasses, etc. at night. The bathtub in the hall is very slippery and there was no bathmat. We know refurnishing the house is still a work in progress. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!"

  • A Little Piece of Heaven

"We couldn't have asked for a nicer Labor Day weekend - it even snowed on the Wallowas and was such a magnificent sight from our farm house Monday morning. This setting is magical and the 2 young Welsh ponies right outside our windows were the "frosting on the cake". The four gals from the class of 1972 were spoiled by each having our own bedroom in this farmhouse decorated with shabby-chic hand-painted by the owner. She was even there to take us on the initial tour as we arrived and answered any questions we posed. Her and her hubby sleep outside in a well-outfitted "glamping tent" when they have visitors renting. The little village of Joseph is a well-kept secret that is suddenly being discovered by the "world", and this home is a cozy option to your adventure!"

  • Amazing Property - Great Location

"You couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay in Joseph. This unit was light and bright with brand new furnishings. Great location right in the middle of town. The landscape surroundings were immaculate. There is a run off stream right behind the property where you could hear the water with the windows open. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had all the amenities needed. We really liked how the two bedrooms were on either ends of the unit with each having an access to a bathroom. The living room was comfortable. The kitchen table only could seat 4 which was fine with us since we only had 4. But normally we have 6 in our family so that wouldn't have worked out if we had more of us visit. Overall, this is the place to stay in Joseph. Beautiful lodging in an amazing little town."

  • Comfortable in Joseph, Oregon

"To all, Our stay was a very comfortable and quiet 5 night stay. My wife and I could not believe that the property was as nice as it was and the quietness of the surrounding building and grounds. Our space looked of recently new construction with many new and very nice upgrades of amenities through out. With finishes such as, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, nice size bath area to a comfortable covered porch/deck area to also relax in, the property was nicely/professionally landscaped with a common area that include many outdoor/backyard amenities as well. And all this.. is in downtown Joseph, Oregon at a very reasonable price of lodging. With a very short walk to the center of town to experience all the eateries, shops, art galleries and the quaintness of Joseph's small town atmosphere. The weather happened to be in our favor the entire stay, with sunny skies and warm comfortable temperatures to enjoy all outdoor activities We are already planning our next visit to Joseph and stay at this same facility again. I would highly recommend. Richard Martin, Hagerstown, Indiana"
