  • Spring break vacation at Thunderhead lodge

"We found the room clean and ready to go. All the amenities that we needed was all inclusive in the room. It was plenty warm in the room for my wife who loves it warm! The only issue we had was that the wifi didn't work. We could connect to the system but the internet for some reason didn't work, the modem showed an active wifi to connect to but indicated that there was no connection to the internet. Also there wasn't a thermostat in the room for us to lower the heat, which wasn't a problem for my wife or my kids, but I was a little uncomfortable for sleeping. Aside from that we had a good time and the room was very clean, well maintained and the rate was very reasonable. I highly recommend staying at the old Thunderhead lodge. Its close to restaurants, ski shops, and a local grocery store if you forgot or need something. Also about 12 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows or Timberline Lodge and just a couple minutes from Ski Bowl."

  • Great as always

"Great location. Quiet and secluded. Don't get a lot of traffic or people walking by. Lots of space in the house and always clean and will kept."

  • Really nice home

"Our family met at this lovely home to start our vacation together. Big dining area with table to accommodate our family dinners. Also wonderful wood stove to make home comfortable and cozy. Definitely would come again to ski and spend time with family. The road going into the house site was a little difficult to maneuver in the rental car due to the March thaw but we were able to get the car up the road safely. The road is short so if you needed to leave the car on the road could have also done that and walked to the house. Hope to come back to this lovely home!"

  • Convenient and Very Comfortable!

"We rented this wonderful condo for a week when the kids were participating in ski camps on Mt. Hood. Our kids stayed with us for the week and the condo was very convenient for getting to Timberline Lodge each morning and visiting their ski camps in the evenings for video review. It was very nice to be an easy walk into Government Camp for a meal or two, stop in at the Govy Store, and visit the gear shops. This condo was very spacious and comfortable for us all. The kids loved the pool and hot tubs, the bunk beds, and being able to hang out and relax with movies and games at the condo. We cooked all of our meals but one (went to the Cascade Dining Room at Timberline Lodge for our final night!) and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. I really appreciated the keyless entry on the front door - no door key to keep track of! Overall, a very clean, comfortable, and convenient home away from home! Thank you!"
