  • Fantastic stay at Camp Festivus!

"This house was exactly what I was looking for inside and out! Inside was very comfortable and clean but felt like a rustic cabin with lots of character. The backyard is so green and shaded with a nice stream to put your feet in. The deck is big and overlooks the awesome back yard. I also loved the fire pit and that there were plenty of outdoor chairs and seating provided. My whole group agreed that it was an awesome place and we would definitely stay again when we return to the area! It is also pet friendly and even though we brought our dogs own bed, he chose one of the big thick beds at the house. The owner was great to work with and responded promptly. It was a great vacation and we were all sad to have to leave."

  • Wonderful place to stay on Mt Hood.

"This was a perfect get away from Portland. Nice layout and beautiful surroundings. Mart was attentive and helpful. Can't wait to go back."

  • Beautiful home!

"We had a wonderful few days at the Alpine Chalet. It was a beautiful, relaxing and cozy place to stay. Clean & well furnished, including lots of games. The kids loved being steps away to the pool. They didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend staying here."

  • Magical winter hideaway

"We stayed at Dancing Bear over Thanksgiving weekend. It is a perfect escape from the city pace, and feels like going back in time with all of the historic details. We spent most of our time in front of the fireplace (they provided plenty of wood for us who enjoy an almost constant fire), at the breakfast nook and outside in the hot tub. All of the Pendleton blankets (and coffee cups!) and cabin decor add to the authentic experience. Clearly this is a special place for the family who owns it and I feel so lucky to have spent a few nights there. I haven't slept better in recent months than I did at Dancing Bear. We opened the bedroom window at night and listened to the bubbling creek. It is a 30 minute drive to Timberline. If you want to get away, this is the place. We plan to be back."
