  • The chalet was very nice. It was equipped with everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay.

"After reading some of the earlier reviews, I was nervous it wouldn't have everything we needed, but it did! It's clear to me that Rijn (Ryan) really pays attention to the reviews and makes changes based on them. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was very clean and well cared for. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as hiking around the property and Trillium Lake. In addition the enjoying the place, Rijn was very easy to work with and extremely accommodating to us, which we really appreciated! We would definitely stay again and I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay!"

  • Fantastic stay at Camp Festivus!

"This house was exactly what I was looking for inside and out! Inside was very comfortable and clean but felt like a rustic cabin with lots of character. The backyard is so green and shaded with a nice stream to put your feet in. The deck is big and overlooks the awesome back yard. I also loved the fire pit and that there were plenty of outdoor chairs and seating provided. My whole group agreed that it was an awesome place and we would definitely stay again when we return to the area! It is also pet friendly and even though we brought our dogs own bed, he chose one of the big thick beds at the house. The owner was great to work with and responded promptly. It was a great vacation and we were all sad to have to leave."

  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"This cabin is like a fairytale come true. We felt like we had found the proverbial "Three Bears" cabin. The setting is in old growth fir trees with a creek running behind. At night, with the bedroom windows open, you can hear the sounds of the forest along with the rippling sounds of the creek. The decor is charming, with it's Pendleton blankets, log interior and bear motiff. Throw pillows abound to make it even cozier. The craftsmanship is a must see! It was large enough for six of us and the kitchen was well-appointed with darling dishes, cookware and two refrigerators. Our family spent a lot of time on the attached deck, eating, lounging and playing games. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Even though Barlow Road runs in front of it, we still had the feeling of privacy and of being immersed in the forest. Our experience was in the summer but I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the winter with the snow falling! Lovely place-can't wait to go back!"

  • Great relaxing getaway close to hiking at Mt Hood

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this original mountain cabin. It was better than we thought it would be. Kitchen was fully equipped. Bathroom had large claw foot soaker tub. There was washer/dryer which was much appreciated after long days hiking!! I really loved the old LP albums which included many of my favorite artists. Slept like a baby in the large queen bed. Very peaceful and relaxing and would highly recommend this property to anyone!"
