  • Fantastic Getaway in the Woods

"Very adorable and spacious cabin for a retreat from the city. The appliances and electronics are dated, just keep that in mind. If you need a gormet kitchen to cook in or a full sound system for movies this isn't the place for you. However, it's perfect for relaxing and enjoying the company in the beautiful surroundings. The hot tub is dated as well, only one jet works but still makes for a great soak. Backyard is a great space! Thoroughly enjoyed this getaway cabin."

"Giant exposed log beams, semi-isolation in the woods, and big windows to see the woods made it feel rustic, but it was (mostly) very comfortable."

  • Incredible View! Comfortable Home!

"The first impression is the incredible view of Mt Hood and the beautiful flower gardens around the house. The home is charming and served our needs very well. The beds are all comfortable, the second bathroom does have a shower, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes etc. to make meals for a full house. It would be nice to have a full curtain between the two bedrooms that join or add a door for privacy. We enjoyed a morning breakfast outside looking at Mt Hood and the gardens before the visitors from the fruit stand began enjoying the view too. Evenings are very private outside to enjoy the yard after the fruit stand closes. The pygmy goats in the front yard were fun. It would be a wonderful place to stay in the winter too!"

  • Cute cabin!

"This is a lovely Steiner cabin, and we stayed here the weekend of the Steiner Cabin tour, which was fun and appropriate! The river is just steps away, and it's a short distance to all the fun Mt. Hood has to offer. . Some comments on earlier reviews- the upstairs VCR must have been fixed, it works fine. There are about 100 tapes. The shower pressure is low but was enough to shower just fine. The minor negatives- the cabin is not secluded, there are neighbors very nearby, and the first night we were there someone was blasting loud music. The water is extremely metallic- bring your own for drinking! The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep, and the only bath is downstairs. The cabin, of course, has no air conditioning, but there are currently no fans. We stayed in the summer in 90-degrees-plus temps and the cabin was very warm- fans would be a big help. But, even with these, we loved our stay."
