  • Perfect Location

"This home was the perfect location in a gated community on the golf course and only a few blocks to beach access. Furnishings were lovely and home was well stocked and comfortable. Quiet location away from downtown Seaside but only minutes away. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks for a great overall experience!"

  • Amazing Home

"We loved staying here! The sitting room, dining room, and family room are spacious and the furniture comfortable. We made a fire in the fireplace every day and it was so inviting to sit there and listen to the crackling. The kitchen was perfect - large and well stocked. We barely ate out the whole trip! The bedrooms were laid out well for our 3 kids, my mom, and my husband and me. We all had plenty of space. We had a few questions during our stay, and the hosts were so friendly and responsive to our calls. We really appreciated that. The house was cold, and it took us a few days to figure out the thermostat, but there were lots and lots of blankets and even a space heater. The beds were all soft, but very comfortable. I normally have back pain when sleeping on such a soft mattress, but I didn't have any problems with the beds. The master bedding was a bit worn, threadbare and ripping in places, so I'd encourage the hosts to invest in a new comforter and sheets for the master. However, the bedding sets in all the other rooms were great. We absolutely loved being so close to the beach. We walked on the beach every morning and every afternoon. The neighborhood is also very nice for walking. Quiet and picturesque - we even met the neighbor and his new puppy! Our only real complaint with the house was the lack of lighting in the family areas in the evenings. During the day, all of the windows let in beautiful natural light. We brought knitting, crochet, and weaving projects for the trip, and the house gets very dark at night. There are lamps, but they just aren't bright enough for crafting. All in all we had the best time, and this was one of our favorite properties we've ever stayed in. Thank you so much! We will be back."

  • Comfort and Convenience

"What an enjoyable location! Close to Seaside, Astoria, and Cannon Beach (Tolovana Beach is the best for a beach walk near Haystack Rock...10 minutes away). Easy, fairly level access to the beach, a pretty nice pool (when it's raining outside), and the condo itself is comfortable. You can tell the owners have put effort into updates to the flooring, granite countertops, and a comfortable bed. The space is just right for a small family like ours. The fold away cots are generous, twin-sized beds and worked great for our toddler with enough space at the end of the king-sized bed. While we were there, the TV cable system was upgraded and maintenance was extremely prompt about solving programming problems before we even knew there was a problem. We lucked out with great weather for Valentine's Day. In contrast, the second day ended with 75 mph wind gusts! But hey, it's the Oregon Coast--even storms can't damper the adventure, and we felt quite safe and comfortable. The kitchen had all new spices and was fairly sufficiently supplied (cooking oil spray might have been convenient to have). We liked the ground level convenience, yet the view of the sunset is lovely. However, the condo is far enough back from the ocean to feel safe in a storm. We thoroughly enjoyed our mid-winter break! Thank you to the owners who were prompt in answering questions. We appreciated staying in your home away from home."
