  • This property has been very well maintained and has the feeling of a a cozy home.

"Great, easy to work with space; we had up to 5 people residing there throughout our stay, without any problems. It is convieniently located being a very quick walk to the beach, the small commercial district of Gearhart, and any events at McMenamins' Gearhart Hotel. I would definitely recommend this house."

  • Family and friends gather in Gearhart

"This house met our needs very well. As with all vacation rentals it had its quirks, like the hidden electric outlet in the main bathroom, but overall we pleased. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking supplies as advertised though I was glad I brought my own rubber spatula as that utensil was missing. The walk to the beach was beautiful and very close. Having bicycles was a real bonus."

  • Delightful and charming home. 5 minute walk through dunes to expansive beach.

"Friendly owner great to work with. Their loved beach house reflected in all details and amenities. Hall bath nice serving 3 bedrooms. Master bath with quaint tub/shower curtain could be improved with a normal shower. Private backyard and deck special perk. Quiet neighborhood with picturesque vintage homes . Deep, beautiful beach with few people a surprise. Enjoyed every moment of beauty, peace and quiet."

  • Absolutely Perfect

"Wow - what a wonderful place! Our family of 16 adults and 2 babies spent three nights at the house. There were plenty of rooms, beds, bathrooms and amenities for everyone from 5 months to 79 years old to enjoy. Kitchen: FULLY stocked, and as a foodie/cook, I mean FULLY stocked. There wasn't a single thing we couldn't find in the kitchen - plenty of pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, glasses, mugs, etc. The 6-burner stove and double ovens could handle food for an army! Deck/Grill: Grill Masters, this is the real deal! I had something like 20 pieces of chicken on the grill with room to spare, and never even used the side burner. There are plenty of deck chairs and a table for 6-8 to eat at. Bedrooms/Bathrooms: There is extra bedding in most rooms, plenty of towels for the whole crew, comfortable beds, and good water pressure in the showers. There is an elevator that serves all three levels for persons who have difficulty navigating stairs. Fire pit: Take your s'mores fixings, because you'll definitely want to sit around the fire on the perfectly cut log seats, while you roast your marshmallows and swap family stories, ghost stories, or both. The garage has plenty of lawn games, frisbees, etc, and there is a big grassy spot to play in. Beach: A short walk through Gearhart leads through the dunes to the beach, where you might see a family of elk chomping on dune grass. Or, get in the car and drive down to Haystack Rock in 15 minutes. Plenty of sand, sea and salty air all around. All weekend, our family kept saying how great the house is. I couldn't agree more!"
