  • Great Oregon Coast Get-a-way

"Enjoyed a fantastic long weekend at the Whitecaps. The location is fantastic, just one block from the beach and about half mile walk to Manzanita. Easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. There are also several hiking trails in the area with in a few minutes drive as you are right next to Oswald West State Park and Nehalem Bay State Park . We did Neahkahnie Mountain Trail and highly recommend it if you want a beautiful view of the beach and Nehalem bay. The property is in excellent shape and has all the amenities for a enjoyable stay. Full kitchen, grill on the deck, full bath, wi-fi, satellite TV, and 2 comfy queen sized beds. It was great to have coffee in the morning on the deck and a read book, and to be grilling steaks as we were watching the sun set. The Jill was great to work with, as communication was quick and very informative. The information provided about the surrounding area was helpful. Check-in was easy and everything was in order when we arrived. If you are looking for a place to stay on the Oregon coast, I highly recommend the Whitecaps."

  • Everything you need for everyone to have a good time

"This place has something for everyone. Those desiring a quiet getaway will love the unobstructed views of Neahkahnie Mountain from the living room and upstairs bedroom and it being situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. We have stayed here for the last several years and can't imagine a better place for our needs. It is ideal for our two children (two miniature poodles) and we're glad there's no nasty carpet so the place always smell fresh and clean and you don't need to worry about what might be lurking in the carpet. Those who have kids will appreciate the game room in the basement equipped with a ping pong table, television and games. There are several bikes to stroll around town with and the kitchen has everything you need to cook up a delicious meal and since we are both on specialized diets, this is a must for us. It's only a few short blocks to town and the beach but secluded enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of town. We are looking forward to coming back for many years to come."

  • Mister and Sister Missed a Twister

"My wife and I were literally leaving the house to drive to Manzanita the day the twister struck Manzanita. We called Vacasa's Portland office and they helped us rearrange to a less deadly date."
