  • Fabulous home for a rainy Thanksgiving

"Your spacious home with a great kitchen was a great retreat from the storms at Thanksgiving. Lightning flashed through closed eyelids just before the thunder cracked, such a jolt! The five of us enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of Manzanita and your abode."

  • A perfect home away from home

"We had an amazingly comfortable stay in this home located right across from the beach. They had absolutely everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, not to mention games and puzzles galore. The upstairs studio room was our favorite place to hang out and read. You just can't beat the view. The owner was really great at communicating and they even left a $20 gift card to our favorite pizza place. It was a wonderful holiday weekend for us."

  • Large comfortable house

"Comfortable beds for two couples and three children. Fourth bedroom has a Murphy bed which is passable. Three nice bathrooms. Wonderful large dinning table for family meals. Perfect for a big family and several generstions at the beach! Plenty of books, videos, games and toys for all ages. Pleasant deck for sunning and reading if the beach is windy. House could use a few small repairs and a deep cleaning. Watch toes on raised brick hearth! Great list of activists in the binder. We took a rewarding hike to the top of Neahkanie Mt, went to Hug Point and rode our bikes to Nahalem State Park. Handy to shops in town. Manager is very helpful! We would stay here again for another great family vacation."

  • Just what we had in mind!

"The homeowners have done a lot to make sure their guests are comfortable. It's a very cute, well-kept house. I think it's a great view of Neahkahnie Mountain, and pleasant walks to both the beach and the town. I would recommend the house whole-heartedly to those seeking a quiet getaway in charming Manzanita. The house was impeccably cleaned for our arrival even though it had been booked the night before. There are a lot of stairs in the house, but that adds a sense of privacy if you have multiple couples staying. I appreciate the responsiveness of the homeowner and her attention to small details such as kindling, towel clips, instructional notes, and even a little lending library for both games and books."
