  • Mister and Sister Missed a Twister

"My wife and I were literally leaving the house to drive to Manzanita the day the twister struck Manzanita. We called Vacasa's Portland office and they helped us rearrange to a less deadly date."

  • Great location, very spacious but still cozy, well-appointed

"We had a seamless experience from booking to checkout. The property is exactly as described. It was incredibly quiet, light filled and very functional in every aspect. The kitchen was well-stocked, they have plenty of linens, and loads of firewood. It's a quick walk to the end of the road to reach the beach access. You can also walk a few short blocks to town. The outdoor shower was also handy to rinse off sandy bits before heading inside. Great patio too for grilling or just soaking up some sun (yes it was really sunny while we were there!). I highly recommend the property and we will certainly be back!"

  • First class!

"It is a beautiful home just as the site photos indicate. There are very nice touches to the decor including wonderful art. Bibliophiles will feel right at home. The windows all along the connected living and dining room provide a wonderful amount of light. The master bedroom is quite spacious. The beds are comfortable as well as the furniture. The kitchen is large and open with plenty of working space. The utility room provides a convenient place to come in after time on the beach or in the woods. It truly is a quiet and peaceful location towards the high point of Manzanita. The deck is large and private with quality outdoor furniture and a lovely little garden area. It is a privilege to be able to enjoy this home. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home and being easy to work with in the process. --M. Cole"

  • Everything you need for everyone to have a good time

"This place has something for everyone. Those desiring a quiet getaway will love the unobstructed views of Neahkahnie Mountain from the living room and upstairs bedroom and it being situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. We have stayed here for the last several years and can't imagine a better place for our needs. It is ideal for our two children (two miniature poodles) and we're glad there's no nasty carpet so the place always smell fresh and clean and you don't need to worry about what might be lurking in the carpet. Those who have kids will appreciate the game room in the basement equipped with a ping pong table, television and games. There are several bikes to stroll around town with and the kitchen has everything you need to cook up a delicious meal and since we are both on specialized diets, this is a must for us. It's only a few short blocks to town and the beach but secluded enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of town. We are looking forward to coming back for many years to come."
