  • Beautiful view, fun house

"When we first saw the home we adored it. The view is amazing and the set up is very open and friendly for a large group and we definitely were a large group. We had family in another house down the way but The Bourbon Place Retreat was our go to spot as the layout allowed us to get together and enjoy each other's company. We were all in town for a wedding and this amazing home allowed my family to see the absolute gorgeousness of the Oregon coast. There was ample parking for our family to come over and the back room in conjunction with the kitchen allowed us to spread out and enjoy each others company without being too cramped. There were only two things that were difficult and that was the locked closets etc that did not allow us to hang up clothing, we had to live out of our bags but small price to pay. And considering we had a full house, things got hard with just two bathrooms, one upstairs in the master bedroom and one downstairs in the common area. I think if you are using the Bourbon Place Retreat to its max capacity which is 20, then you need to be sure that people are fine with bathroom turn-taking as that got a little difficult. But all in all, this was a great home and we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • LOVED it!

"We stayed here for a wedding in Oceanside and the house was absolutely perfect in every way. We had everything we could possibly need and everyone felt very comfortable and at home. there were only 3 in our party, but the house easily could hold a larger group. The view of the bay is stunning and the town of Netarts is so quaint. We had a blast exploring the area! I don't recommend walking on the beach during high tide -- it's very rocky. Wait for low tide to expose the sand and you can take a leisurely stroll. We all agreed we would definitely return to this house again!"

  • Amazing hidden gem

"Our group of 7 women had a really great time in this house. The April weather happen to be perfect and the location was amazing. Easy to walk to Oceanside on the beach, or go to the Schooner for a meal. Loved how we had this nice calm bay in front of the house, but could easily get the Ocean elements with a little walk towards oceanside. We found so many full sand dollars on our morning walks! We also loved basking in the chairs on the deck. If you have a paddleboard or small kayak the calmness of the bay is great place to practice. Not provided so you'd need to bring (would be nice to have at the house). Our only issues was that the main bathroom was having some toilet issues, in addition to all the towels in the whole house smelling like mildew."

  • great place for the entire family!

"Our family of 5 stayed here and there was plenty of room for more people! The pool table and the a abundance of board games kept our 3 kids entertained for hours! The hot tub was an added bonus! It's a very beautiful house and would love to stay here again soon!"
