  • Fantastic, felt like we were Portlandians. Great neighborhood.

"Liked it alot. We had 1 small dog which we can tell liked it as well. So many dogs around. Would definitely go back again when we make another Portland trip."

  • Well kept and clean home in the Belmont District.

"House was well supplied and very well kept. Kitchen and bath were newly remodeled but kept the charm of this early 1900's home. Home was located in the Belmont District which made everything with in walking distance. Local market, restaurants and watering holes. We had a get time. Perfect for one to two couples."

  • Perfect Place

"We stayed for a month in this lovely apartment and would definitely return. It is in a great location, nicely appointed and Nancy was available to answer any questions we had. While you can hear your upstairs neighbors sometimes, it was never disruptive--just part of staying in a neat old house. We both worked remotely for the month and had no issues. There is a grocery store basically around the corner so when we weren't exploring the restaurants and baked goods nearby, we enjoyed cooking at home. While you're steps from Hawthorne, Belmont and Division are both easy walks and have a lot to offer. We also enjoyed running in the neighborhood to Mt. Tabor and Laurelhurst Park. It was a great place to spend a month and we would definitely return!"

  • Great place in a great city!

"My husband and I were in Portland for 6 days and this little, private basement suite was such a great home away from home. Nestled in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, but so close to so many amenities. Portland is a wonderful city to walk and explore, and there was a bike town hub to rent bicycles to get across the river just a few steps away. The suite itself was clean, safe and had everything we hoped for. On the last day we got a very welcome visit from Rupert the cat. Although we never interacted with Gillian and Scott (besides a quick hello, we had everything we needed!), we felt welcomed and wouldn't have hesitated to do so if we had needed. Thanks for a great stay! We hope to one day be back!"
