  • Food Friends and Ocean Views

"We stayed here with friends and thoroughly enjoyed this condo. The weather was windy and rainy but the building was quiet and cozy. We cooked most meals in and were able to find what we needed. The internet was very fast. As other reviewers have said the condo was clean, stocked with thick towels and tastefully decorated. Especially if you like seashells. We hiked nearby beaches when the storm broke each day and enjoyed chatting with the locals. We ate fabulous sushi and cheesecake at Cafe Kitanishi and outstanding tai food at Kuhn Thai. This was our first time visiting Brookings but felt like family. Thanks for the use of your property to assist in the making of great memories."

  • Great location and very relaxing

"We came here with our family of 5 and stayed for a week. There was one very large room for our boys to share and another large room for our daughter. The master bedroom was set a little off for privacy. It had a sliding glass door with beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was well-stocked and clean. The dining room had an AMAZING view of the ocean. We spent most our mornings just watching the waves. It was a short walk to the ocean and there were great tide pools and lots of cool rocks, sea glass, and driftwood to find. There were only two things that were not perfect: the light fixtures in the master bedroom bathroom have not been cleaned in a bit and the pellet stove was very noisy. I would definitely go to this home again."

  • Million Dollar View

"This is the second time we've spent a family week at this great beach house. The house is very comfortable, excellent location and the view is incredible. Equipped with everything we need. So many places to explore that's close by. We took the Jet Boat ride out of Gold beach with our three teenage grandkids. Also went to Alfred A. Loeb, SP so the grandsons could float the Chetco in the kayak Never a dull moment the whole time we were there. Did have a little rain this time, but didn't stop us from having fun. Definitely hope to visit again !! Thank you Steve and Kristi."

  • nice location

"Casey, the owner is very easy to work with. The home was very well kept for an older home. It had many things that are very appealing to families with children; game room with pool, air hockey, pin ball machines and many more. Also they have lots of things for little children too, games, toys and lots of movies. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was it needed more SHOWERS. If you have alot of people at the home most people prefer to shower. Their is one shower downstairs and a bathtub upstairs. No one used the tub, most adults use showers. Also it would have been great to have an dishwasher. We seen one in the play room but it was unable to hook up to kitchen sink as they did not match up to line up for water supply. So we used lots of paper plates. Although they had many dishes for you to cook and make a great meal. We walked to the marina every night and watched the sun set on the ocean. Brookings has the most beautiful beaches on the Oregon Coast. We also made a day trip to the Redwoods in California. You are not very far from them at this location. They were majestic and worth the short drive. All in all we had a wonderful time and we appreciate Casey for letting us use his home."
