  • Lovely log home in the woods, with view of ocean from the balcony.

"This is a real treasure to find on the Southern Oregon Coast. The home is well appointed, with an English cottage setting. The home is two storied with a wonderful ambience. My family was so surprised to have access to an in ground pool and delightful hot tub in an enclosed area. There was a pleasant surprise by the pool with a very cute little "tea room." For those of you who need the creature comfort of home, there is a tv with all of the premium channels, and adequate wifi, for those who need to stay connected. We found lots of other little surprises in the well stocked cabinets and in the roomy bathroom. I took the smaller of the two downstairs bedrooms, and my niece loved the spacious master. Upstairs we found a great open-layout loft with two twin beds and lots of other cubbies, stuffed animals, and other delightful finds. This property is also very dog friendly. My brother in law came over for brief time, and his dashund, Charlie, had a ball. There is a nice size BBQ on covered deck, along with picnic table. There is a working woodstove in living room, and small woodpile to start fire. We were all amazed the the fact, that no matter what window you looked out, there was a breathtaking view. Owner is very easy to contact, and Donna, the housekeeper was very warm and welcoming. We also met the yard/pool guy briefly, so yes, you don't have to do any chores while on vacation. I highly recommend this for family get togethers, and would be a great retreat for romantic adventure. Enjoy! All and all, this was one of the best family retreat we have been at for years. We agreed to try and incorporate this magical place with our busy lives, in the future."

  • Great location and very relaxing

"We came here with our family of 5 and stayed for a week. There was one very large room for our boys to share and another large room for our daughter. The master bedroom was set a little off for privacy. It had a sliding glass door with beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was well-stocked and clean. The dining room had an AMAZING view of the ocean. We spent most our mornings just watching the waves. It was a short walk to the ocean and there were great tide pools and lots of cool rocks, sea glass, and driftwood to find. There were only two things that were not perfect: the light fixtures in the master bedroom bathroom have not been cleaned in a bit and the pellet stove was very noisy. I would definitely go to this home again."

  • Solitude Cove is very well named!

"Father and I were fortunate to spend a week here and absolutely loved everything about it! The only "problem" was that we didn't want to leave! The house is incredibly comfortable, perfectly situated for watching all the boats coming and going into the harbor, and well equipped for anything you need. We are very much looking forward to renting this house again, only for longer than a week next time!"

  • Superb getaway

"Our stay at Rainbow Rock condo was completely enjoyable. The Ocean view was magnificent and we could relax and reflect just looking out at the peaceful ocean. The condo itself was very comfortable and very well maintained. Every imaginable household need was provided from the linens and cooking needs right down to the wine bottle opener. The beds were quite comfortable and the heat lights in the ceiling of the bathrooms were welcome on a few chilly mornings. There was ample literature about the area, restaurants and places of interest. When we needed some help from the condo owner, Jan Schrag, she was quick to return a phone call and give us the information needed. This need was in regard to the operation of the television and the use of the cable service. The service had evidently been recently changed and new instructions had not yet been written. Easy resolution, however, and the inconvenience was minor. Of the several times we have now visited the southern Oregon coast, this was our most comfortable "like home" stay."
