  • This year the Chateau

"Just finished another great week at the Piercy Suites, last year was a week in the Casita, this year the Chateau. The apartment was very well stocked as it was last year, everything from Blender to a Toaster. Not once did I have a "oh I should have brought this" moment. I should mention, even though you can stay just a few nights, both times I've stayed there have been folks in the other suites staying for months at a time while they work in the area...that's how comfortable and well equipped the suites are. The Casita last year was more sheltered from road noise, but nothing that would stop me from renting the Chateau again. The Chateau did have a more roomy bathroom and shower stall which was nice. Langlois Market (5 stars, amazing selection for a small town market) The spoon restaurant (I will eat there next time, I only heard good things, but just didn't get to it.) Thanks Sue, I'll be back next year if not sooner :-) Tell Roy hello, he was a great neighbor. Robert & Sherry"

  • This home has all the WOW factor!

"My husband and I were eager to return to Bandon, as we missed their serene and beautiful beaches. Throughout the years, we've have stayed in several vacation homes and this by far is the best one! It exceeded our expectations: rental cost, location, amenities, comfort, and convenience. This immaculate home is perfect for a large family as it's roomy and spacious. There's even a bonus room dedicated for kids. Tastefully decorated and furnishing are all well kept and comfortable. Bill Kelsay's artwork are truly amazing and enhances the house with all his talents. We didn't need such a large home, yet the incredible value and location offered so much, we couldn't pass this house up. It's across from the Face Rock Wayside (this is the site where travelers come afar to see) and beach access is near your doorsteps. The posted pictures and reviews are all accurate. The owners are wonderful and I especially was impressed with receiving a personal call from Linda on the day of arrival. She was inquiring whether we needed anything and appreciated her courteous call. You won't be disappointed as this home has all the WOW factor. We're so glad to have discovered this hidden gem in Bandon. It provided us all the comforts of home and a place we would love to bring our grown children and grandchildren to enjoy as well. Thanks again, Linda and Kelsay, for your hospitality!"

  • The Most Beautiful Mountain Top Wedding Location

"For anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding location, to a beautiful relaxing, scenic, retreat for a large group, or small, this home away from home property is absolutely stunning, from every view! My niece found this retreat online and from that moment, was excited to see it in person. After speaking with the owner Jamie, we were given the caretaker Sally's number to set up a time to see it. We arrived and found Sally outside working away on late Fall clean up burning brush and fallen debree it looked like. After seeing this, and more on our next visit, it's understandable why this property looks so beautifully cared for. Sally and her husband do such a wonderful job at keeping this retreat beautiful yet still so natural looking. Our reservations were very easily made thru Jamie, who herself was very pleasant to work with. We reserved the whole facility, both main houses and all cabins. This worked well as for it gave all wedding party , plus family, rooms and beds. It gave us 2 kitchens total, the main house kitchen was used to finish prepping last minute wedding foods, while The Lodge kitchen was used for our meals for rehearsal dinner, to breakfast and lunch before the late afternoon wedding on Saturday. Both kitchens had all we needed for any prep left to do. We also enjoyed gathering everyone in The Lodge in the evening before calling it a night. Having a family full of hunters, including myself, we all admired the Bull Elk mounted on the Lodge wall. Meaning to ask Sally or Jamie if they knew what the Bull scored, we have all guessed it to be around a 357? Haha! We used the field up top with the Gazebo for the wedding, decorating with spool tables, Hay bale seating and a homemade Alder altar, it was simple yet beautiful, with the panaramic views from every direction, you needed very few decorations in this natural environment. Our older generation retired much earlier than the younger generation, leaving me slightly worried the music would disturb Sally and her husband. Sally was very very gracious and insisting they were not bothered by the music. I cannot say enough, how much I have truly enjoyed speaking to and working with Sally. She and her husband are much more than caretakers, they are two of the nicest, accommodating gentle souls you will ever meet. They truly made our stay perfect! I cannot recommend this property enough, Thank you Jamie and Sally, we met as strangers, and left feeling like we had a new friend😊"
