  • This year the Chateau

"Just finished another great week at the Piercy Suites, last year was a week in the Casita, this year the Chateau. The apartment was very well stocked as it was last year, everything from Blender to a Toaster. Not once did I have a "oh I should have brought this" moment. I should mention, even though you can stay just a few nights, both times I've stayed there have been folks in the other suites staying for months at a time while they work in the area...that's how comfortable and well equipped the suites are. The Casita last year was more sheltered from road noise, but nothing that would stop me from renting the Chateau again. The Chateau did have a more roomy bathroom and shower stall which was nice. Langlois Market (5 stars, amazing selection for a small town market) The spoon restaurant (I will eat there next time, I only heard good things, but just didn't get to it.) Thanks Sue, I'll be back next year if not sooner :-) Tell Roy hello, he was a great neighbor. Robert & Sherry"

  • Perfect!

"My mom and I stayed at Ma Petite Maison on our trip down the Oregon Coast and found it to be an ideal location for both exploring the southern coast and spending time inside reading and relaxing. The view is terrific, and it is clear that much care has gone into creating a lovely, clean, and exceptionally well supplied rental property. The hosts are welcoming, attentive, and happy to suggest places to visit in Port Orford and beyond. We would definitely stay here again and can't recommend this property highly enough!"

  • Another Five Star Review!

"I appreciated all of the good reviews before I booked, so I know there are already lots of them but I'm going to add ours as well! At our max, our family reunion had 32 people and I don't think anyone felt crowded - everyone raved about it. Some family went into Bandon, some of us were happy to soak up every moment of relaxation. We loved petting the horses, looking at stars (even if only one night was clear enough to see them), cooking together, being able to have the late-night folks in a non-sleeping room to talk as loud as they wanted. Sixes was comfortable for 6 adults. At first we thought it would be a teen room, but with genders and ages, it worked better being for adults. Enough privacy. Very impressed with how Jaime has fixed up all of the space and especially with Sixes and Coquille. Everyone told me how much they liked it, and that they wished they'd scheduled to stay longer. Planning this trip - with over-scheduled business people and teens, people with difficulty getting vacation from work, and a long drive (5 hours from Portland, 4 from Newport, and more from Oakland) - was a pain in the neck, I am so grateful we found this place. Jaime is an absolute pleasure to work with and the caretakers were also very nice. Only things close to a negative - a swimming pool would make this heaven, not being able to have a campfire for Smores (fire danger right now), and I could live without the Elk head in the lodge! But the biggest negative - we had to leave!"

  • Very nice

"This is a very nice home, with spectacular views. We enjoyed our stay here. We were looking for a place where we could do nothing except sleep and watch movies, (we have 10 kids). This is a great movie house because of the 10 foot screen and projector and they have a good collection of movies...a few hundred movies.. The kitchen is great. The master bedroom is awesome. We will likely return. I would like to mention a few things that are not clear in the advertisement, and or that could be remedied. 1. The DVD player was quite glitchy. With diligence, I was able to always get it going, but sometimes it took 15 minutes to get a movie to play. 2. From the pictures I really thought this was a secluded house with great privacy. Although the location is somewhat secluded, there are a few houses very close by. One house is less than 100 ft from the home, and we felt the need to use the drapes. When you are looking out the fabulous windows facing the ocean, there is a feeling of seclusion however. 4. The ocean is not accessible from the house. However, access is a very short drive away. 5. The giant movie screen/projector set up is fabulous except it can't be used during daylight. There is too much sunlight and it washes out the projection. Most people probably don't care about this because they are actually doing something other than watching movies during the day. And, fortunately, a tv is provided which can be watched during the day. Gary, thank you again for the use of your home. We met Gary at the home, and he was very nice and helpful. We look forward to coming back again."
