  • Awesome Getaway!

"What a wonderful place to ring in the new year! We love Mexico and the ocean and Hacienda Beach House blended the two in Oregon, who'd of thought! The pictures accurately reflect the home and we were immediately comfortable. Our dog also felt right at home, with a great yard for her and a deck to catch some sun. Yes, we were blessed with beautiful weather for Dec/Jan; sun and low 50s made for great walks on the beach! The home has everything you need. Much appreciated all the little notes around regarding how to operating things in the house. If we could change anything it would be stronger jets in the hot tub, a door for the master bathroom, provide some binoculars, and remove some of the MANY crosses (they're a bit much)."

  • The Most Beautiful Mountain Top Wedding Location

"For anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding location, to a beautiful relaxing, scenic, retreat for a large group, or small, this home away from home property is absolutely stunning, from every view! My niece found this retreat online and from that moment, was excited to see it in person. After speaking with the owner Jamie, we were given the caretaker Sally's number to set up a time to see it. We arrived and found Sally outside working away on late Fall clean up burning brush and fallen debree it looked like. After seeing this, and more on our next visit, it's understandable why this property looks so beautifully cared for. Sally and her husband do such a wonderful job at keeping this retreat beautiful yet still so natural looking. Our reservations were very easily made thru Jamie, who herself was very pleasant to work with. We reserved the whole facility, both main houses and all cabins. This worked well as for it gave all wedding party , plus family, rooms and beds. It gave us 2 kitchens total, the main house kitchen was used to finish prepping last minute wedding foods, while The Lodge kitchen was used for our meals for rehearsal dinner, to breakfast and lunch before the late afternoon wedding on Saturday. Both kitchens had all we needed for any prep left to do. We also enjoyed gathering everyone in The Lodge in the evening before calling it a night. Having a family full of hunters, including myself, we all admired the Bull Elk mounted on the Lodge wall. Meaning to ask Sally or Jamie if they knew what the Bull scored, we have all guessed it to be around a 357? Haha! We used the field up top with the Gazebo for the wedding, decorating with spool tables, Hay bale seating and a homemade Alder altar, it was simple yet beautiful, with the panaramic views from every direction, you needed very few decorations in this natural environment. Our older generation retired much earlier than the younger generation, leaving me slightly worried the music would disturb Sally and her husband. Sally was very very gracious and insisting they were not bothered by the music. I cannot say enough, how much I have truly enjoyed speaking to and working with Sally. She and her husband are much more than caretakers, they are two of the nicest, accommodating gentle souls you will ever meet. They truly made our stay perfect! I cannot recommend this property enough, Thank you Jamie and Sally, we met as strangers, and left feeling like we had a new friend😊"

  • Very nice

"This is a very nice home, with spectacular views. We enjoyed our stay here. We were looking for a place where we could do nothing except sleep and watch movies, (we have 10 kids). This is a great movie house because of the 10 foot screen and projector and they have a good collection of movies...a few hundred movies.. The kitchen is great. The master bedroom is awesome. We will likely return. I would like to mention a few things that are not clear in the advertisement, and or that could be remedied. 1. The DVD player was quite glitchy. With diligence, I was able to always get it going, but sometimes it took 15 minutes to get a movie to play. 2. From the pictures I really thought this was a secluded house with great privacy. Although the location is somewhat secluded, there are a few houses very close by. One house is less than 100 ft from the home, and we felt the need to use the drapes. When you are looking out the fabulous windows facing the ocean, there is a feeling of seclusion however. 4. The ocean is not accessible from the house. However, access is a very short drive away. 5. The giant movie screen/projector set up is fabulous except it can't be used during daylight. There is too much sunlight and it washes out the projection. Most people probably don't care about this because they are actually doing something other than watching movies during the day. And, fortunately, a tv is provided which can be watched during the day. Gary, thank you again for the use of your home. We met Gary at the home, and he was very nice and helpful. We look forward to coming back again."

  • Land's End... could not be better

"Without a doubt, the views from most rooms will take your breath away. Access to the beach is easy and the beach itself is, IMO, the best in Southern Oregon! Accommodations are impeccable and without equal. Lidia and her staff do an excellent job. You can not find a more intimate and pleasurable experience than staying in one of Lidia's vacation rentals... We shall return!"
