  • Family gathering

"The house was ideal for gathering with family, which was the purpose of our trip. We had family traveling from various locations, and it was lovely to have such an open layout where all could visit. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the sun, looking out at the trees and ocean. The owners were quick to respond and send someone to check out the pellet stove, which turned out to be fine for us unfamiliar with them! ;) When our other rental fell through due to rare circumstance, I was so pleased to find this house for our large party, at such a great rate! The whole family enjoyed the foosball table downstairs and many family movies. Instructions on house care were thorough and informative and overall great for our family gathering!"

  • North Bend Historic Treasure

"This cottage was built prior to 1907. It has since been added on to and remodeled. Very comfortable with everything one would need for an extended stay. Relax in the claw foot tub and sleep comfortable in the king size bed. Walking distance to down town for dinner and pubs. We enjoyed a months stay. The owners live close by in case you lock yourself out like we did. Off street parking was a plus. Highly recommend this place and dog friendly too. What more can one expect !"

  • Great affordable spot by the dunes!

"We rented the a-frame and the studio when we were in town for my brother's wedding. The a-frame is really cute and comfy, with a nice deck that looks over the little lake. The studio is nice as well and is connected very closely with the a-frame. My sister and her husband had their 2 week old infant with them so they took the studio and it worked great for them to have a quiet separate spot but next door to us. We spent most of our time at the wedding site so we didn't get to take advantage of the rowboat or go play in the dunes, but Dune Haven is right there so we could have if we had time. The owners were very friendly on the phone and in person (I met Mike and spoke to Nancy on the phone). Nancy told me up front about the rule regarding no extra unregistered guests which I appreciated, so then I was able to decide if I still wanted to rent it - which I did. Because I knew we would be at the wedding most of the time that rule did not bother me. The price was very affordable and it was way better than a hotel, and fun to stay with my other siblings all in a group. Also I loved staying in a nice quiet cabin when I was not at the wedding!"

  • Views to die for and solitude

"You can't beat the view from the deck of this property. Large bay windows offer a great way to wake and take in the day. The kitchen is well stocked and the 3 bathrooms keeps everybody happy. The property is off the main highway and surrounded by beautiful trees. The owner is very sweet and is willing to do what she can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The only downside is the property is in need of some updates and a thorough cleaning, otherwise it makes for a wonderful get away."
