  • Lovely cabin in the woods

"A perfect cabin - the location is wonderful, up in the hills above Ashland. The interior of the cabin is stunning - all hand crafted furniture and fittings, and feels inviting and cozy. Luckily, the fall weather was warm and sunny, and so we spent plenty of time on the spacious deck in the canopy of the oak trees. Thanks so much Tom and Margaret!"

  • Lovely country retreat!

"Our women's group of five thoroughly enjoyed the spacious kitchen, indoor eating areas ... and the outdoor picnic tables and lovely roses surrounding this brick home. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have air conditioning during the hot days. Mrs. Winn was most accommodating and helpful ;-)."

  • Best Place Ever!!

"A perfect jewel of a cottage with Sarah and Shady taking the prize for the best hosts/friends one could meet and connect with on a journey! They were so great to chat with yet completely respectful of guest privacy. Sarah has thought of almost everything - you truly felt like you were home. The decor, comfy furnishings and beautiful home construction are top-of-the-line. The kitchen was a dream kitchen with pretty much anything you needed to cook a full meal (maybe another pyrex baking dish?). The living room was comfy with good Wifi - no real TV reception so Wifi would allow you to stream content. Bathroom is a dream come true - spacious, modern, spotless, with an awesome shower. The bedroom was also comfy and spacious with plenty of storage space for clothes. I'm a light sleeper and the bedroom windows had the honeycomb room-blackout shades - perfect. Sarah and I were able to come up with an option to cover the glass french doors to keep out the light and it worked great. The bed was soft and lumpy - a bit uncomfortable for me. Literally just steps from the main artery in Ashland, I was able to walk to the theater, hike in Lithia Park and explore downtown Ashland, keeping my car parked unless I left town. As a light sleeper (even with the great windows), the downside to being so close to the central streets is that car traffic is steady/noisy till around 11:30pm, starting up again around 7:30am with weekend traffic noise contuning a bit later. All in all, a great visit with wonderful hosts!"

  • Stone Throw

"Had a wonderful time at the Stone's Throw Bungalow recently. The accommodations are top notch with all possible items you would need in this one bedroom, kitchenette and bath vacation home. Karin is a delightful hostess, greeting you upon arrival with a smile and helpful suggestions for enjoying Ashland. The decor of the Bungalow is sharp and everything you need is right there. Karin has thought of it all! The garden yard is welcoming with a fire pit to enjoy a cozy fire. A wonderful place to stay, I am going back!!!"
