  • Wonderful Winter Stay

"Fantastic location with a wonderful view of the creek and its banks. The lower deck is right over the creek. A cozy cabin, warm and comfortable. Great privacy and quiet. Clean and well equipped! We sometimes got 1 bar (AT&T) from the deck, but you can really get away from it all here and forget about the outside world. We stayed during the height of winter with daily heavy snow accumulation, so we packed everybody into the Master (King bed), Guest (Queen bed), and the sofas, in the main cabin (which has the two bathrooms). The other building has the bunk (4x full, 1x queen) room, and the additional Queen room. It would be great for larger parties in the warmer months. We had so much snow that we couldn't get out of the 500 foot driveway with 2WD and chains, but the friendly neighbor was happy to pull us out with his tractor. Had we had a 4WD with lots of clearance, we would probably have been able to get out on our own. It is a really short drive to the Willamette Pass resort, which is great value and not crowded at all. We had some of the best skiing/snowboarding here!"

  • A real jewel that offers tranquility near Crater Lake

"Everything about this property exceeded expectations. I read all the reviews before choosing this cabin and will try to supplement what has already been said while agreeing with the other rave reviews. We actually changed our vacation dates to book this cabin and we are glad that we did so. I've been to Crater Lake to hike and enjoy the area many times and know that no place is really "close" which is one of the charms of the place. Prospect itself is in a beautiful area of the Rogue River Valley worth visiting and the road from there to Crater Lake was never crowded. The cabin and grounds are very private and give the feeling of being far from civilization. We sat outside for morning coffee/evening wine and enjoyed the outdoor bathing area. The cabin itself is a work of wood-art. It is incredibly organized and supplied with everything you can "need" to be comfortable. The master bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom. Everything from the pots & pans to the towels are very high quality. We certainly plan to return and are grateful for our time there."

  • Beautiful property

"This is our 3rd year staying here and always such a pleasure. Beautiful house and surroundings and fully stocked. Love this place and will be back next year. Also, whenever we have had a question/concern Wendy gets back to you immediately, highly recommend. Oh and one more thing, found the horseshoes in the back and had a blast playing."

  • It was wonderful!

"The cabin is unique, cozy and warm - well maintained, well supplied and loved! The property it sits on is gorgeous. It was an easy drive into downtown Ashland - we had a fabulous time! I would recommend this cabin to anyone."
