  • We Adore this Cabin!

"I love this cabin! The location is fabulous because it is so centrally located. We've been out for a day at the Illinois River, the Caves, Crater Lake and they were all within about an hour and a half drive. Not bad at all for a day trip! It takes us 10 minutes tops to get to Ashland from the cabin but at the same time you feel like you are in the middle of the woods while you're there and essentially you are. There's a grocery store about 5 minutes away for your convenience. If you forget anything on your trip Medford is also within about 15 minutes and there is a mall, every store imaginable, and most of the chain restaurants. Ashland has some great dining options as well, and if you are trying to save some money the cabin has everything you need for cooking meals and storing leftovers. It's peaceful and the beds are so incredibly comfortable. On our arrival the maintenance staff had put out a tray of goodies and some fresh flowers. So sweet and they lasted our entire stay! We always get visits from a family of deer and this last visit included a group of turkeys. The details in the cabin are special and you can see and feel the love that was put into building it and that goes into maintaining it for guests. I highly recommend this cabin for a visit to Ashland. It's a beautiful property."

  • Mouna and the BnB were wonderful!

"First let's talk about what you NEED to know. 3 miles of steep switchback gravel road to get into the valley. But once you do, you are transported back in time. The barnhouse is a rural barn that was transformed into a 3 story house. Things are put together creatively, and the decor is eclectic. 7 people from 15-72 years old were comfortable the entire 5 nights. The kitchen was well stocked, and the entire house is impeccably clean. The area was so quiet and peaceful, with a family of deer gorging on the apples from the Apple tree. It takes about 36 mins. to get to the Ashland Shakespeare theaters, so if that's you're plan, plan accordingly. If you want a relaxed vacation this is the place!"

  • Spacious & Clean

"This home was perfect for our weekend visit to see a play in Ashland. The only disappointment was beyond the owner's control. It was a cloudy and cool weekend and unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the back patio for outside dining, relaxing in the hammock or sitting around the fire pit in the evening. All looked inviting. The home is conveniently located and is within walking distance of a market and several restaurants. We found it very clean and it had plenty of bathroom towels and kitchen items. An additional plus was that our dog was allowed. I would definitely recommend it to others."
