  • Wonderful!

"My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found the Winery Lofts in Carlton. Check-in was easy, at the Ken Wright tasting room just across the street. Our unit (UNIT 6) was welcoming, comfortable and well-appointed. There was plenty of room for a longer stay and, even though we didn't prepare meals there, the kitchen was well-equipped. The kitchen was stocked with complimentary beverages (water, juice, etc) and snacks including a bag of Oregon hazelnuts and fresh fruit. The Umpqua oats that were provided were very much appreciated when we had an early morning departure. The building was quiet, felt safe and was easily accessed from a front and back entrance. We enjoyed visiting the wonderful wineries in the area, exploring the nearby town of McMinnville and hiking around the Trappist monastery. We would DEFINITELY want to stay there again, and hope to do so soon."

  • Beautiful, idyllic country setting, great for visiting wine country and nearby Portland

"This was our first trip to the Northwest, and we couldn't have picked a better location from which to stage our day trips. The guest house is well appointed, located on a beautiful, serene setting along the Willamette River. The Farrell's are gracious hosts, offering us use of their kayak, as well as access to their chicken coup for fresh eggs! Their friendly Golden Retriever was always there to greet us when we returned from our sightseeing excursions. The heart of wine country is just up the road, and downtown Portland is only 30 minutes away. Within 2-hour's drive are Mt. St. Helens, the Oregon coast, Mt. Hood, and the Columbia Gorge. There are excellent restaurants nearby, and Portland is renown for these as well. We highly recommend this property to any couple looking to explore this beautiful part of the country."

  • Perfect!

"We had an outstanding stay. Everything was top notch. Clean, cute, romantic, fun, centrally located, peaceful, and just a walk away from restaurants, grocery store and more. Our best day was opening a bottle of wine (or two) and sitting on the front porch with bread and fresh cheese we got from the store. I hate to post this because I want to keep this secret all to ourselves....Thanks Darci."

  • Had an amazing time!

"This property is beautiful, secluded and unique. I've never stayed anywhere quite like this, and I was so impressed with the house! It is an older home, but it is well maintained and we loved all the natural light and decks available for enjoying coffee or wine, depending on the time of day. Each room was set up to receive the guests with towels and other amenities, and everything was clean and ready for us. The directions into the property and how to enter the house were spot on and much appreciated! I personally wasn't able to attend the free wine tasting, but those that did said it was a lot of fun and really enjoyed that extra perk. I would definitely come back here again if I ever needed a quiet relaxing holiday from the craziness of everyday life. If I am able to come back, I'd love to stay for much longer so I can actually take advantage of all this property has to offer and explore the ground some more."
