  • This house is more well-stocked than my own!

"This house was just perfect for us. My husband and I took my dear 93 year old blind mama to Eugene for 10 days to visit with her grandkids and great grandkids. This single-story house, with no interior steps and wood laminate floors, was just what mom needed with her wheelchair. The owners are very careful to not have renters who are smokers or bring their pets so this house smells fresh and clean. (And my mom has a nose like a beagle so would have detected either smell!) The layout of the house allows a person in the living room to see and talk to somebody in the dining room or kitchen. The dining table comfortably seats 8. The kitchen has every possible thing in it that you would ever need and it all looks new. It is better stocked than my own! I brought 2 pizza pans from home but there were already 2 there! And I brought my mini-cupcake pan from home but there was already one there! The top-quality "OXO" brand can opener was a mystery to me so I had to find a You Tube video to see how to use it. The hubby said he really liked how comfy the living room couch was. It was fantastic to use a new washer and dryer set that I like better than my own! The barbeque in the back yard worked perfectly and had a full tank of propane. The back yard is a good size for little kids to run around in. The kids who visited enjoyed playing with the inside toys from the closet and the outside toys stored in bins in the garage. Everything is super organized and very clean. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood that is conveniently close to a wide variety of shopping. I especially enjoyed two lengthy "me time" shopping trips at the nearby large Winco grocery store. The prices there are very good and they have every thing you would possibly need. I even found frozen edamame (without the shells) in the frozen veggie section and I can't find that at my home Safeway store. The owners of this house are a joy to communicate with and I give them and their house a 5-star rating!"

  • Excellent location and Well Equipped Home

"We are a family of four and stayed in the Little Pink House in Eugene, OR in July 2016. The house is centrally located and easy to navigate through Eugene and near the University. The house was perfect for our needs. There are two queen bedrooms upstairs and the beds are both very comfortable. There is only one bathroom, which is located on the entry level/downstairs area. The home was well equipped with kitchenware for light cooking, plenty of towels for the bathroom, excellent Wifi and satellite TV. We even took advantage of the BBQ, which also worked well. The washer and dryer was a bonus, though we didn't need to use it. If we return to Eugene, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!"

  • Great Stay near the U of O

"Ingrid and Ralph's place was a great place to stay to watch the huskies beat up on the ducks. The house was spacious, inviting, and nicely decorated. The owners were extremely flexible and friendly, and even provided great coffee and bread for the morning. I highly recommend."

  • My Eugene Home

"I just wrapped up another stay at the artful cottage while in Eugene for a sporting event. I love being able to get away from the crowds and find serenity at the cottage/the yard surrounding the cottage. The accommodations are fantastic and the food provided is always on point. The best way to describe my experiences staying at the artful cottage would be "wholistic" in that not only does my body get to rest and relax, but also my mind and spirit. Megas and Tom are wonderful! About the accommodations: Upstairs there are two beds, a full and a queen with a futon type couch that is about the size of a full bed when converted. In addition, there is a small television with a good selection of DVDs, some tv channels, and a bookshelf loaded with great reads. Downstairs is the kitchen with a shelf loaded with good organic eats which include: veggies, fruit, and whatever dietary needs requested. Additionally, there is a small two burner cooktop, a mini fridge (loaded with food!), a dishwasher, tea pot, coffee pot, and so forth. a standard bathroom is off of the kitchen. This would be a great place for almost anyone to stay unless there is difficulty with stairs as the beds are upstairs."
