  • Absolutely perfect location for spending time at the U of O

"Had a great time staying here with my 9 year old son for the Ducks game. Almost walking distance to campus and convenient for everything we did. It was absolutely clean and quiet and we had a blast watching football games, etc. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Wonderful Home Away from Home

"Great location for the events we were attending over the weekend. The house is very comfortably furnished and we really enjoyed sitting out back as the evening cooled (we had a heat wave that weekend). The host is friendly and accommodating. Will definitely want to stay at the Nifty Thrifty the next time we're in Eugene!"

  • Great spot for a large group

"The home was lovely, totally furnished with anything you would need. The Kurig machine was fantastic, we drink a lot of coffee and appreciated the ease of making a quick cup! We had 20 staying there and we all had enough space to spread out. I highly recommend this place for a big family gathering. Thanks to letting us stay there, we had a blast!"

  • My Eugene Home

"I just wrapped up another stay at the artful cottage while in Eugene for a sporting event. I love being able to get away from the crowds and find serenity at the cottage/the yard surrounding the cottage. The accommodations are fantastic and the food provided is always on point. The best way to describe my experiences staying at the artful cottage would be "wholistic" in that not only does my body get to rest and relax, but also my mind and spirit. Megas and Tom are wonderful! About the accommodations: Upstairs there are two beds, a full and a queen with a futon type couch that is about the size of a full bed when converted. In addition, there is a small television with a good selection of DVDs, some tv channels, and a bookshelf loaded with great reads. Downstairs is the kitchen with a shelf loaded with good organic eats which include: veggies, fruit, and whatever dietary needs requested. Additionally, there is a small two burner cooktop, a mini fridge (loaded with food!), a dishwasher, tea pot, coffee pot, and so forth. a standard bathroom is off of the kitchen. This would be a great place for almost anyone to stay unless there is difficulty with stairs as the beds are upstairs."
