  • Paradise!!!

"Wow - this cabin is such a beautiful, peaceful place. I was warmly greeted by Jean, Don and their adorable pup Hazel. True to any winemaker, Don had a bottle of wine in hand ready to share 😊 They are great hosts - eagerly answered all my questions before arrival and during my stay. The Olivers wine is delicious AND they know lots of folks in town. EVERYONE LUVS the Olivers. I have stayed in all sorts of places all over the world and this cabin is one of my all time favs! So very comfortable and a view that is amazing. The pics really dont do it justice. Very close to everything. I cant wait to return!!! Thank you Jean and Don! Cheers!"

  • Oregon's Pinot Noir experience

"Our group (ages 52-84) were out to experence the Oregon Pinot area and what an outstanding place to be! This lovely home suited our needs quite well - from the space for all to the beautiful countryside! Many evenings were enjoyed out on the patio to review our wineries finds of the day. It was wonderful to get out in the country and enjoy the piece and quite!"

  • Serenity, Peaceful, Comfortable Glamping

"I rented this house to spend some quality time fishing and outdoors with my grandsons from Portland. Having a very bad back, tent camping is out and I need comfortable furniture and beds to sleep in. When my husband and I walked in this house was so clean and much more delightful then the pictures show. My grandsons absolutely were immediately impressed with all the fun things it offered an 8 and 12 year old. They had their own room and bathroom downstairs with an air hockey table and a large assortment of games. Upstairs is a pool table and they spent some wonderful time with their grandfather playing pool. We loved the outdoor area and all the seating it provided along with a firepit for s'mores and hot dogs.It also, has a very accessible path leading down to the river with stairs that we were all able to negotiate. They fished and caught 4 trout the week we were there and went swimming on a 95 degree day. There is a perch table down by the river to sit and watch or get reprieve from the sun. I enjoyed walking down there in the morning with my coffee and my grandsons with their cocoa and having some great talks. The kitchen is well equipped and I lacked nothing for cooking all the meals there along with a nice propane barbeque for outdoor cooking. We were planning on a dinner out but, ate them all there due to the convenience and view we had. The river is beautiful and it is so peaceful there it made for a very memorable vacation for us all. Two things I enjoyed were the geese that fly up the river several times a day. I could hear them honking when approaching and would step outside to watch them. We saw eagles, osprey and other wildlife. Also, there is a small creek that runs in front of the house with a trail. At night from the master bedroom with the windows open you can hear the rippling sound and it is so relaxing. The owners were great and you can tell are making improvements and keep up the house. The outdoor deck and furniture look like recent additions and it is well done and very comfortable. We all agreed it was a fantastic house and we will be returning to make some more s'mores and memories."
