  • Loved it! Delightful place and most gracious host!

"We loved our entire stay here that we extended our stay. Diana was most accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay most pleasant. We literally had the place to ourselves. All our needs were provided for. Everything was stocked and available. Enjoyed the fireplace!"

  • Lovely place, clean, convenient, so many personal touches. Tastefully decorated.

"A great combination of historic Eugene and up to date remodeling. Loved the neighborhood- Starbucks, Market of Choice and restaurants nearby. Yet very quiet and a nice walk to nearby park and trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Attended the Matt Hartner Classic at the Mo and Willamalane Center, and this was the perfect central location. We really enjoyed not having cable as it limited distractions and provided more opportunities for family interaction. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Eugene and looking forward to staying here again for many more years to come."

  • Oregon Ducks Basketball Weekend Get-away

"We rented this property for a weekend to visit Eugene for a Ducks basketball game. Including the big win over Arizona, we enjoyed our stay at the Nifty Thrifty. Ellen, the proprietor, is super responsive and helpful - though we had no issues that needed particular attention. The property itself is clean and adequately appointed. The published pictures are very representative of the real thing. Perhaps its best asset though is location. We walked to a great Thai spot our first night, found a quaint bakery / cafe the following morning, and made a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to Matthew Knight Arena for the game. Super convenient and easy all the way around. We also were able to get our pups out between rain showers to nearby Amazon Park, which was thoroughly enjoyable for all on four legs, or two! We'd definitely recommend this property for travelers on a budget, with pets, or who want lots to do nearby."
