  • Beautiful home. Conveniently located. We loved it

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. We came to Oregon for my daughter's wedding. This home is an easy trip to the interstate, shopping, and downtown Salem. The path around the lake was perfect for an early morning walk. We will definitely be staying again."

  • Wonderful place in the woods!

"What a great place for relaxation and getting back to nature. The fishing was fun, the grounds were beautiful and it was exactly what we wanted. The house was wonderful for 3 couples (55+). The kitchen was small but it worked out just fine. There was no internet or TV, except for some DVD movies. Once we put down our phones etc., we had more time to sit on the deck, cook, go for walks and drink great wine from Oregon. We all agreed to come back to this same house next year. The owners were great to deal with and provided us with information about the area. They were very responsive to all our questions. All in all, we enjoyed our 5 night stay!"

  • Great place

"We loved the location of this house we wanted to stay close to the coast for the 4th but not pay an arm and a leg! We've used homeaway before and will again this place was secluded, spacious and well kept. Water is from a well so it's slightly discolored and gets air in the line but not a big issue. The house looked clean it smelled a little musty but we opened the windows and it aired out quickly. The beds were comfy the bathrooms clean we didn't find it to be a big deal to wash linens as we do this at our own cabin. We loved being able to spread out and not be on top of each other and my kids and nieces had a great time exploring out back! (Ages 12-5) all in all we would highly recommend and we would be willing to stay again if we are in the area! Thanks for letting us into your home and make memories we won't soon forget!"

  • Great location

"We stayed in Mary's condo for 2 1/2 months from November 2, 2015 to January 15, 2016. The unit was in excellent condition and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The concierge at the Meriwether building was very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. It is closer to the city center but yet far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The Portland streetcar, Max and bus lines are all very close and easy walking distance. We bought Trimet passes that allowed us to use buses, street cars and the MAX train and use them often. However, I found it easy to walk into downtown Portland in about 30 to 45 minutes depending on where in the city I was going Dan did this when the weather permitted. The north-south street car comes fairly often and you can get to a number of excellent restaurants in both southwest and northwest Portland. By walking a little farther to the Tillicnm Crossing bridge you can get streetcars, buses and MAX train that will take you to the east side of town as well as more locations in Portland's city center. Mary was very responsive and helpful."
