  • Perfect Holiday Get Away

"Our daughter is attending university nearby so we headed to the coast instead of bringing her all the way home for the short holiday. We brought Grandpa & Grandma along too and every member of the family absolutely loved the house. Our teenage son is ready to sell the farm in Idaho and move in permanently. The weather was very stormy but we had the perfect front row seat to watch the waves crash, the lightening flash and the rain pour. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for cooking our Thanksgiving seafood feast. If one were ever to tire of the view and exploring the beach, the other amenities like shops across the hwy, internet, games and satellite TV provide endless things to do. Thanks for a great family holiday. We look forward to another opportunity to come back!"

  • Lovely beach house and easy access to Manzanita sights

"We had a wonderful stay at this beach house during the July 4th weekend! The house was just right for our combined families (myself, my husband and our three children, my mother-in-law, and my parents), and the location was perfect. Short access to the beach, near the golf course and the state park, and easy to get into town. The house is very well set up and everything was clean and comfortable."

  • Babcock Family

"The Oregon coast is one of my families favorite beach spots. & after this week I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! We had an amazing week here with tons of food, card games, bonfires & relaxation. We even saw Bald Eagles & whales multiple times from the amazing view in the house! There was plenty of space & a loaded kitchen with everything we needed. Sad to be home, but so thankful for the incredible memories made at this house. With love from Colorado & Washington, the Babcock, Wells, Hogan, & Till families."

  • Awesome place for our honeymoon!!

"WOW! We hope to go back to this beautiful area again and the Edelweiss Chalet is where we would stay again and again. This is a very quiet community, away from the touristy buzz, which is exactly what we wanted. Peace and serenity. The chalet delivered. Very clean, decorated so comfy and cozy with all the amenities you could ask for. We slept great in the master bedroom and the bed was perfect for us....and the sheets and pillows were very comfortable!! Beautiful view to open your eyes to. Kitchen well stocked for cooking as well and easy to work in. The view is amazing from EVERY window. Soft blankies and pillows everywhere to snuggle with on the deck or comfy couch. Fireplace if you like. Loved the hammock too! Sat down by the firepit but didn't get to light a fire as it was rainy that night. Michelle, the owner, was very accommodating through the entire experience, making sure we had everything we needed as well as making excellent recommendations for dining and shopping. Thanks for that, Michelle!! We took all of your advice! A must try that she sent us to is Roseanna's in Oceanside. Incredible oysters, in fact the best we had on the coast during our stay. The little store in Netarts is close by for most any basic staples we needed and friendly people that own it. Also, Lexi's Cool Stuff in Netarts is a fun little shop to check out. Tillamook has great shops and things to do for short trips and we really enjoyed just driving up and down the magnificent coast, eating our way back to the chalet! ;) Some folks wouldn't care for alot of stairs but it certainly didn't bother us. The Chalet probably wouldn't be good for someone with mobility issues but my husband and I believe it's very worth the climb! :) (and I have a broken foot!) Thank You Michelle for a wonderful honeymoon in your fabulous home!! Hope your herbs and flowers are doing well! ;) :)"
