  • 7 days at Beach Front Lodge and Loft

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay at your house was good. We had 9 adults and 5 chilren staying here. The kids had a blast. The adults had fun. The view from the house was spectacular. We loved the yard, but why the rule about not moving the wooden chairs onto the lawn? There was good access to the beach. The house was equipped adequately for what we needed to do. Just a couple of suggestions: The table chairs in the loft are very unstable----one broke from someone merely sitting down on it (not an overweight person). The towels and linens were "Good Will Quality"---we think you need to purchase better towels and linens. How about adding a coffee grinder to the kitchen equipment?"

  • Beyond the Sea

"Spectacular views of the waves crashing against the rock formations with a huge lawn out to the ocean. The home is so comfortable for small families with or without pets. Everything was clean with a fully equipped kitchen and linens. It is walking distance to town! A great getaway."

  • Perfect for families with young children

"What a pleasant surprise we found in this sweet family home. We stayed for 6 days with our 2 year old twins, and the house suited us perfectly. It is small, but because of its nice flow, generous bedrooms, and large kitchen, it never felt tight. It was ideal for small children - beach and creek access is right off the backyard, there are hoses for rinsing off outside, it has homey furniture, towels, plates, etc that we weren't afraid to actually use, and one floor so no worries about lofts/stairs. This home is still used by its owners, and you can tell - the kitchen is well stocked (sharp knives! Coffee grinder! Big pots!), the book selection is amazing, lots of games and puzzles. We made a fire one night, we hiked cascade head one day, headed to Newport another. And Neskowin Beach was a daily treat; the combination of creek, rocks, and ocean varied with the tides. The home is very close to the town entrance/cafe/market/beach path. We were worried about it feeling busy or loud, but it never really was, even on the weekends. I think Neskowin is small enough, that it just never gets that busy. And the close proximity was such a bonus with our toddlers - everything was in walking distance. It does not have a real obvious ocean view (you can see it through the backyard, glancingly), but it is so easy to access the beach, we didn't really need the view from home. I am grateful to the owners for sharing this home, and keeping the price reasonable. We had a lovely time."
