  • Beautiful & Peaceful

"This is a hidden gem in Bend! It's only 15 minutes outside of town, but it feels so secluded and peaceful! All you hear are the sounds of dragonflies and fish jumping in the lake. We loved the quality and beauty of the home, the thoughtfulness and attention to detail of the amenities, and the peacefulness of the location. Our favorite memories of the weekend include the two mile walk around the lake (beautiful and I didn't see a single person the entire much time to think and be alone was nice since I'm a mom of two young boys), taking our boys out in the canoe and fishing, sitting on the back deck in the adirondack chairs watching the sunset, and getting some much needed sleep with the windows open and cool mountain air (very restful and refreshing). You can tell that Bill and Tracy take a lot of extra effort to make their cabins and the property a special place for their guests. We are hoping to return in the winter! We loved it and think you will as well!"

  • Quaint cottage

"My family of 5 stayed at this cottage in Tillamook, OR. Loved the close proximity to the town of Tillamook where the people were really friendly, close to the Oregon coast and other small towns to visit. It is a great place to stay for a family with older children, guys/girls getaway weekend. Would not recommend for families with small children not a lot of a yard for the kids to play outside. Pictures of the inside of the cottage are what you see, however, the outside is a bit deceiving. The back and front yard were overgrown with weeds and really don't have a back yard per say. The cottage sits right off the highway so you do have the noise of the highway all day and night, but we were not there during the day and returned late at night. It worked great for our family and I would recommend staying and would stay again."

  • We didn't want to leave!

"My husband and I had the most amazing week at Gull House. Where to start? The orange-pinks of spectacular sunsets from the deck; the sound of the surf through the windows at night; the misty view of the ocean in the mornings. The house was so very comfortable and cozy. And the hot tub!!! Oh my, the hot tub, filled with fresh water for our visit, was just magic. (It wasn't fully heated up when we arrived, but a quick call to the owner confirmed it was because they'd changed the water that day, and also resulted in a host of extremely helpful tips for restaurants and whale watching - THANK YOU for being so responsive!) We were in the hot tub every morning AND every night. Love love love. :-) The kitchen is well-appointed, with all the dishes and pots and pans we could have wished for. There were odds and ends of cooking oil, spices, and a selection of teas, too. We felt so very welcomed! Gull House is definitely on our list of places we'll return to. We already miss it! Thanks to the owners for sharing this magical place."
