  • Beautiful, idyllic country setting, great for visiting wine country and nearby Portland

"This was our first trip to the Northwest, and we couldn't have picked a better location from which to stage our day trips. The guest house is well appointed, located on a beautiful, serene setting along the Willamette River. The Farrell's are gracious hosts, offering us use of their kayak, as well as access to their chicken coup for fresh eggs! Their friendly Golden Retriever was always there to greet us when we returned from our sightseeing excursions. The heart of wine country is just up the road, and downtown Portland is only 30 minutes away. Within 2-hour's drive are Mt. St. Helens, the Oregon coast, Mt. Hood, and the Columbia Gorge. There are excellent restaurants nearby, and Portland is renown for these as well. We highly recommend this property to any couple looking to explore this beautiful part of the country."

  • Great place to stay!

"Summer Vacation We were very pleased with Mark & Louise’s Sunriver Home. Before we arrived, Mark answered questions we had and even gave several suggestions of things to do in the area. We loved the location of the home; out of the way, quiet and super close to the north store. Almost daily we would see a baby deer and its mom. The house was clean, comfy and had plenty of room for our family of 5. The house was fully stocked had almost every amenity you could want. The open floor plan was nice to be together while cooking and eating. We enjoyed the SHARC passes daily.  We had so much fun; biking, hot tubing, going to the SHARC and venturing into Bend to kayak on the Tumalo Creek. We didn’t want to leave and already are planning our next visit. I would recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a reasonable, comfy place to stay."

  • This home meets all your expectations and more!

"28 Tan Oak home was just what I was hoping it would be and a whole lot more for me and my family. The home is located on the quietest street, it was such a peaceful setting. It was one of the cleanest homes I have ever been to in Sun River. It was like staying at a good friends or family members home, nothing like some of the rentals we have stayed in. Everything in this home was top notch. The beds were so comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen had everything and I mean everything a good cook would want. It was was so well stocked. I would highly recommend this home for your stay in Sun River. We will definetly be coming back. Thank you Joyce for sharing your home with us. Carol."

  • Perfect location

"We truly enjoyed our stay in your home. Having a pool next door and a park down the street created a perfect atmosphere for our youth. Thank you again for allowing us to stay there and we will be considering staying there again next year."
