  • Great vacation property

"Our stay at the Sandcastle Beach Cottage was great. We stayed for a week and the house and location were wonderful. The 7 year old granddaughter loved being close the playground and spent hours everyday looking for rock treasures on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The house was spotless. The owner was helpful and gave thorough instructions and answered all questions promptly. Highly recommend staying here. Access to the beach is close by - however, if you have mobility problems driving the few blocks to public beach access might be easier."

  • Choice, quiet location within minutes of the beach. Excellent views.

"A great place for family vacations. This beach house was a class up from the usual. However, steep walks to access entry and stairs galore inside. Driveways for unloading and loading not convenient. Some interior items need attention, i.e., disposal switch is inoperable, freezer compartment does not work, and is replaced by an old fashioned square box unit which sits across, toilet flushing mechanism on master bathroom downstairs came apart and needed repair (done by us), numerous light bulbs need replacement (can't be reached unless you levitate). Kitchen needs more glassware, silverware, tupperware bowls (there were lids but no bowls), measuring spoons. Kitchen could use a griddle for pancakes (advertised features note a griddle, but none could be found) House needs more toilet paper, paper towels to last six days or better. On arrival we discovered the downstairs side door to be open. The cleaners must have been in a hurry. The lock box was in a different location than described. It was by the french doors, upper level, attached to a hose bib next to the BBQ. Tricky to open, at least five trys. The views are plentiful and spectacular, but would be greatly enhanced by window cleaning. Exterior gutters are growing a whole new garden. There are two excellent restaurant choices in the Neskowin village, both walkable. Food is delicious, and service was very good. A handy general store with deli items and wine in the village. This house deserves 5 stars when a few adjustments are made."

  • Great vacation home

"This is the second time we've stayed at this home in Eagle Crest. It's quiet and centrally located for easy access to Bend, Sisters, Smith Rocks and lots of other great adventures. The house is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We will stay here again!"
