  • I'd stay here again

"The house was just what we were looking for. It was a little dated, but clean. The bed set-up was great (a King and 2 twins) and the kitchen had everything we needed. We liked the extra beds even though we didn't use them to sleep on. They were nice to lounge and read. We came for the snow, but at the same time it would have been nice if the paths to the front door and hot tub had been cleared. They were sheets of ice. At least there were snow shovels handy. I also thought it said coffee and one load of wood were provided, but the only coffee were 3 sketchy looking K-cups and there was one piece of wood. It was very quiet except for when the train went by, but that didn't seem to happen when we were sleeping. Overall, I would stay here again."

  • A perfect setting accompanied by a well appointed house

"This should be the only stop you need in the Dundee /Newberg area . Sitting atop rolling hills covered with vineyards , 3 snow toped peaks in the distance and a small Koi filled pond just beyond the deck you would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful setting. The house has everything you need and while you seem miles away from anywhere, Dundee and Newberg are minutes away. Even the road back into town must have a half dozen wineries - if you drew up the requirements for a perfect wine country setting Vineyard Ridge would be it."

  • Nice home with great location

"Wonderful view of the golf course. So relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery.. The house is very clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen well equipped.. It is an easy walk into town to shop or enjoy one of the restaurants."

  • Most incredible place for the money..

"If it were possible, I would give this place more than 5 stars. It was beyond clean. Well-VERY well equipped with any thing you could possible need as if you came with nothing. Very cozy. Very, VERY nicely redone so tastefully with a kind of "hybrid Shabby Chic" look...I guess you could call it, but perhaps more subdued, more peaceful than a true Shab.Chic. Location is awesome, indeed as stated, close to anything you come to Seaside to do...beach...shops...rent things on wheels...whatever, it's all a stones throw away. The neighbors on either side are also VERY nice...one one side, the gentleman gave us smoked salmon, just to be neighborly, and on the other side, the neighbor intervened as someone was trying to steal our bikes, while we were sleeping, that we had brought with us to ride. It was one of our best stays...perhaps THE best stay yet in Seaside. Thank-you Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!!"
