  • Perfect, Peaceful Getaway

"We were looking a place to spend our 1-year anniversary. When the weekend we wanted wasn't available, Lola reached out personally to help us make it work for another weekend. She was incredibly communicative and very nice to work with. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us. Comfortable and incredibly cute. With only 3 other cottages, it was also very private and serene. We were able to bring our dog Sadie who loved the hiking trails and the small lake. The hot tub was so relaxing and sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the front porch with a cup of coffee and a book (or in my boyfriend's case, his Nintendo) surrounded by fall leaves was a dream. We loved it and will be back again!"

  • Perfect Bedford & Flight 93 Memorial Location

"Tastefully appointed guest home with early American decor. Lovely country setting. Bedford (restaurants, shops, etc.) are only 15 minutes away and Flight 93 Memorial is a lovely 30 minute drive though the mountains. Only thing that could have made it better would be central air (vs. window a/c & fans) and more clarity on the "smart" TV."

  • Little Slice of Heaven

"Not knowing what to expect, we were most pleasantly surprised. If peace and quiet are what you need, Green Valley is the place. Francena cottage was cozy and inviting. I look forward to returning and staying in one of the other cottages, possibly in the winter. I can only imagine the beauty of the snow at Green Valley."

  • Excellent!

"Great property, excellent house, and overall nice experience. We stayed here in July 2016 for a wedding in Huntingdon and made a week of it on Raystown Lake. The location was great as it is only 10 minutes from all the retail needs in Huntingdon, about 25 minutes from Seven Points Marina, and yet very isolated at the top of the mountain. The community road and driveway to the house are unpaved and parts are fairly steep as the description notes, but it isn't too bad of a drive and can be done in most any vehicle (my sister-in-law did it in a fully loaded minivan with no issues). The house is well laid out with two bedrooms on the main (entry) floor and two on the second floor (each floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and one with two twins). The master bedroom is on the main floor and has its own master bath. Each floor also has a large shared bathroom. There's also a really nice loft on the second floor directly above the kitchen that is a great area for the kids to sleep. There were already four air mattresses in the loft when we arrived, so our kids and their cousins had a blast sleeping up there. The stacked washer and dryer comes in handy too. Finally, there's a great deck that wraps around two sides of the house with plenty of room for grilling and enjoying the outdoors. Overall excellent stay, great value for the price, and we will definitely be back!"
