  • Just what our family needed, absolutely perfect.

"This place is perfect, it was just what I needed as well as my daughter and son in law. Not to big, but plenty of room that we had our own space which is great when you are getting away with a fairly newly married couple. Beautiful setting, clean place. All the comforts of home but none of the stress. I love that Kay and John live close by so if you do something silly like we did and lock the oven on self cleaning with your dinner in it you have contacts to call. Oh and it is a great location, it no more than 20-30 min away from all my favorite places. Worlds End, Eaglesmare, Forksville General Store, and Ricketts Glenn. We only got to meet Kay but she could not have been any nicer. I will be coming back and so will my daughter and son in law. Thank you, John and Kay for providing such a beautiful, affordable and clean getaway."

  • Perfect spot

"My wife and I were looking for a nice, quiet spot for our 5th anniversary. This cabin exceeded all of our expectations. We had a fantastic week of hiking in state parks, exploring the area, and also spending plenty of time relaxing by the fireplace. Everything was exactly as pictured - clean and cozy with everything you need. Cindy was great to deal with too. We loved the cabin and have added it to our list of favorite vacation spots."

  • Beautiful Weekend Getaway

"This cabin was everything we could hope for in a weekend escape. The cabin sits back far from the road up a long gravel driveway that ends at the cabin sitting on a large amount of property. The privacy was fantastic, there were no nearby neighbors and there was a lot of land to let the dog run around on the property. The cabin has everything you need and is well kept and maintained. The full kitchen bar was a fantastic place to spend the morning making breakfast before heading outside to enjoy the lake. The lake is down a short path from the cabin and is great for relaxing and fishing. We will definitely be returning to this cabin again!"

  • Great time in a great place!

"This place is simply HUGE. We fit 7 adults in here easily with 5 individual bedrooms and huge couches for those who decided to stay up a bit longer at the fire and not wake the sleeping bears up. The hot tub was a great way to stretch out after a long day on the slopes at Elk Mountain. In addition to a large number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the living room & family rooms are also ginormous! I bet this place is great in the spring/summer/fall with the lake available, but as a group house for skiers, it was also perfect! Looking forward to staying here again next year!"
