  • Fabulous vacation!

"Having rented several properties at different Pocono resort communities, I have to say that this is unquestionably one of the best. Everyone in our group, young (and no so young), absolutely loved it! The house was impeccably clean and in excellent condition. As others have said, the pictures really don’t do it justice. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) and was large enough to accommodate several of us at once. The furnishings were ample and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather together for “family time” as well as to spread out when people needed a little space. From early morning breakfasts on the beautiful, private deck, to game time downstairs at night, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute there. As for the community, the teens and young ones loved the heated pool with slides and kiddie area, and the grandparents appreciated the ample poolside seating with shade. There’s a playground adjacent as well as a small general store and a community center with an arcade, planned activities, and a restaurant serving everything from steak and seafood to pizza. Down the road a little way there’s a lake with a fabulous sandy beach, snack shop, and small watercraft (kayaks, canoes, paddle boats) that are available free of charge to enjoy. There’s also a stable where pony, arena, and trail rides are offered. We were impressed by the cleanliness and condition of all of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff. We truly didn’t want to leave and are already trying to find a way to make it back next year. Finally, Gina was absolutely fabulous to work with. She was extremely responsive and not only answered any questions that came up, but went out of her way to offer suggestions to make sure our trip went as smoothly as possible. I have no qualms about highly recommending this property!"

  • A beautiful and peaceful getaway!

"I have been going to this house every summer for the past couple of years. The scenery is beautiful whether you're peering out at the many private acres from the deck of the house or from the dock at the lake. There are tons of different activities such as fishing, swimming, and boating. Make sure to bring some hot dogs or hamburgers to grill at the lake and some marshmallows for some late night s'mores! It's a great way to get away to somewhere quiet, peaceful, and private. The owners/family are incredibly friendly and very welcoming. It's a perfect fit for any age and I highly recommend!"

  • R&R in the country!

"My family (wife, two kids and dog) and I had wonderful five days at this quaint Summit Lake cottage. The cabin has everything that you could need for a vacation away from home. The setting is bucolic with country roads and being on a lake with no motorized boats. We loved kayaking, swimming and fishing from the dock, sat around the fire pit at night, and enjoyed morning coffee, evening cocktails and meals on the deck. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle from daily life, I don't think you could find a better place than this. We'll definitely be back in the future!"

  • Wonderful August vacation

"We had a wonderful family vacation here with 4 adults and three small children (6, 8 and 1 years old). The house is nicely furnished, well kept and clean, as is the property in general. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the lake is a great way to start a day. Most of our days consisted of fishing (good bass), kayaking, paddle boarding (we brought our own), and swimming in the lake. We brought a ton of groceries and cooked all of our meals. There is a small market nearby where you can grab basic groceries, gas, and even bait (if you want worms for catching sunnies for the kids). Also notable is the owner, Eric, was readily available via text if we had any questions or needs."
