  • Wonderful, relaxing home!

"This property is absolutely gorgeous--secluded, peaceful, with beautiful gardens and several walking trails at the back of the house. The house itself was immaculate, modern, and incredibly comfortable. We have a toddler, and the house set up--multiple bathrooms, a downstairs area with twin beds, a futon, and a kids' play table--was perfect for a family with a young child. Gianni and Angela were wonderful as well, and they have created a very special, lovely vacation home. Close enough to NYC for a quick getaway, and with a clear view of the night sky in a beautiful setting, this was really the perfect house for a Catskills vacation."

  • Beautiful setting, charming home

"We spent a lovely weekend here and recommend it to others. The house is charming and full of historic details, and the land and views are breathtaking. Our host was quite gracious; she answered all questions quickly and even set up a travel crib for our daughter. Our two-year-old loved watching the horses and cows in neighboring pastures, and we enjoyed spending time outside and going in town for the farmers' market and good meals. Ideal location -- feels quite removed, but very close to town for convenience."

  • Amazing Experience

"The property and owner was great. She kept us up to date on arrival time and gave us some info on the house and all its amenities. The bedrooms where spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment and was easy to use. The pond was nice to look at and walk around. The surrounding area was peaceful and beautiful. The Town of Jeffersonville was 10 minutes away and had a store and some great restaurants, Teds Diner is a must. Overall this was a great experience and we will defiantly be back."

  • Fantastic Winter Getaway!

"If you are looking for a winter weekend getaway that is in walking distance to the tubing and ski slopes, this is it! We planned for a quiet winter getaway with family and that's exactly what we received. Besides being a very nice guy, Joe was very responsive and available, contacting us via email and phone whenever we had a question or concern. The house is brand new and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies - glasses, bowls, utensils, some pots/pans, full spice cabinet and a refrigerator with an ice maker. There is also a huge kitchen table with seating for 10+. The large family room was a focal point as we all had plenty of room to sit around the gas fireplace and watch television. Each of the 4 bedrooms was very neat and clean, with comfortable mattresses. The loft area was the perfect space for the kids to sleep - futon bed and plenty of floor space. The basement had another set of comfortable couches with a game room area, including foosball and a ping pong table. The large TV in the basement was perfect for our Wii video game. The skiing area is within walking distance or a 30 second car ride. You will receive a 25% discount on all ski and rental tickets as a resident. The lodge was clean and has a very nice restaurant. We all went tubing and it was a blast! The ski resort is sized perfectly for a weekend getaway. There is horseback riding nearby but we did not get a chance to visit. Every morning and night you will receive a visit from a group of resident deer looking for cheerios and bread - the kids got such a kick out of this, feeding them from the deck. I would recommend this house to anyone and will definitely return!"
