  • good time was had by all!

"My friends and I rent a house near the ski and tubing slopes every MLK weekend and this year we found that we needed a larger house to rent due to the ever expanding size of our group! Colleen's house was everything we hoped for and more! We enjoyed the game room a lot. Although there is a pool table, dart board, etc...the guys in our group loved playing the rubber rings game that hangs on the wall! We are already checking our schedules to see if we could possibly rent this house for a summer weekend so that we could enjoy the lake and pool! If not, we will be back next January for sure!"

  • A wonderful week!

"We had an awesome week at Nancy's house! She was a great host, and answered every question about the house. There were no surprises!! The house is beautiful, bright, and spacious. There is also a ton of hiking, biking, and swimming in the area. Definitely recommend!!!"

  • Perfect Weekend with Family!

"We arrived here July 2, 2016 to spend the 4th of July weekend with my family and fiance. I have to admit, my parents had many questions before booking and arrival that Harris answered promptly. Upon arrival, he greeted us to give us a tour of the place. The place was BEAUTIFUL! The creek is just a few steps away and we woke up to the sound of the waters each morning. The huge deck on the second floor that wraps around the entire second floor provided all 8 of us plenty of space. My grandma and parents enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the early hours of the morning before heading out to sight seeing to near by Bushkill falls. Harris also provided us with four fishing rods and tubes for the creek. The water seemed shallow to go tubing and we tried fishing but with no luck - but being from NYC we don't have much patience. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it definitely has it's amenities that make it very homey. It was a home away from home. Also, I did not know there was a hammock but we did enjoy an hour or two enjoying the view and relaxing on it. We definitely over packed, so a word of advice, all pots and pans and silverware are provided as well as paper goods; even basic cooking ingredients. You literally have to just bring your food, drinks, clothes, towels and personal hygiene products. My first time on VRBO but I am so happy we chose this place. One of the nights it was very loud with constant fire works nearby but that is understandable since it was a holiday weekend. If situation allows, I would love to visit again, either with family or with friends. He provided us with more than enough paper goods and firewood, as well as live bait for fishing. We had the fire going in the pit most of the time throughout our stay, except when we went to bed. He has a few rules, but nothing too strict, things that make sense and would follow in your own home. I would recommend and stay over and over again! Thank you again Harris for your hospitality."

  • Loved it!!

"The house was beautiful. Very well maintained, right across from the lake. A great quiet place for a week away from the city. There is something to do for everyone, fishing, deer watching, swimming in the heated community pool, enjoying breakfast on the porch, or even a competitive ping pong tournament... We had an amazing time..."
