  • perfect for large groups

"We stayed at the house with a group of 14 people (including kids). The house appeared to be bigger than what it looked in the pictures. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do. Between the playroom in the basement, hot tub, sauna, grill, bar area and Hideout community amenities there is plenty to keep everyone in the group occupied. It is an older house, however it is kept in a very good condition. Kitchen is fully stacked with pots and pans, plates, cup and silverware - there is absolutely no need to bring your own.Upstairs area could be dangerous to the little kids, but owner did warn us abut it prior to the booking and provide baby gates to prevent kids from running up the stairs unattended. Stephen (owner) leaves you detailed instructions about the house and we were able to get in touch with him immediately after we accidentally set off the alarm."

  • Our stay was great!

"We booked a weekend to celebrate father's day weekend. As a family we brought a canoe and 5 kayaks. The ramp to access the lake was just across the street. We got in several paddling adventures. My granddaughter is still smiling as a result of catching the most fish at the stocked pond. The weber grill was easy to light and conveniently located just outside of the kitchen door. We toasted marshmallows at fire pit and swam during the day in what appeared to be an Olympic sized pool. Everyone came home tired and with the desire to return someday in the future."

  • Very nice!

"As the other reviews state, the pictures do not do it justice. This home and property are beautiful. The space inside is very open and welcoming and the huge deck compliments the same. we had plenty of room for everyone to relax, chit chat, and sleep. At times we could not believe how quiet it was. We had an abundance of nature's visitors. Plenty of deer and chipmunks. However, the highlight was the Pileated Woodpeckers that flew right up to the tree next to the fire pit. It was quite amazing watching them go to town. We all had a wonderful time! Thanks Pat and Joe Lorenzo!"

  • Perfect lake vacation

"Large house with plenty of accomodations for three families including nine children. One full size and two mid-size refrigerators provide plenty of space for groceries. Large sandy beach area with firepit, dock and ability to swim and kayak right from the property. Community has two sandy beaches on main lake, outdoor pool, nice looking golf course (didn't get to play), decent fitness center, etc. Kids enjoyed ceramics at Art Center. Other residents and vacationers were very friendly. Definitely worth a vacation alternative to crowded ocean resort towns. P.S. my kids told me I had to add that the game room was a great place for them to play and get away from the parents."
