  • Great Place to Rest and Play

"We loved our stay at this little gem of a house tucked away on a quiet country road along the Delaware River. One can understand how the impressionist painters got their inspiration as you sit on the spacious deck or glance out of any window facing the river. Different times of the day present palettes of color to delight the soul! It is so peaceful, serene and relaxing. There is plenty to do in this area, as well. One of our favorites was New Hope with its great restaurants, antiques, art galleries and cultural events. Don't miss Lambertville on the Jersey side of the river. Don't miss tubing down the river if you go in the warm weather. The area is packed with lovely places to walk, sights to see, and don't miss a meal at the Black Bass's on the river and the food is delicious. Fabulous ambience. The owners of this house could not have been more gracious and made us feel so welcome. The house itself is extremely inviting to "hang out" in with its open main floor, beautiful kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Love, love, love the large deck. I did not expect to find such an architecturally interesting and well designed place. We could have brought our children and grandchildren as there was plenty of room. The house was clean, well supplied and I loved being able to heat my towels in the master bathroom We will definitely return to this home and I would recommend it to anyone as it is so comfortable and welcoming. The only thing that I would like to see change is the T.V. in the living room. It is way too small and on a rainy day, one might just want to hang and watch T.V. or a movie."

  • Perfect Fall Getaway!

"Spent an amazing weekend with friends in this gorgeous house that was better than advertised! The home has plenty of living space. The poolhouse is a hidden gem. Huge yard. Multiple fireplaces. Spotless. This is not a typical rental property, but more of a home, with plenty of personal touches. The owners obviously have great taste in decor. You can tell that they take pride in the home. The area is great. Minutes to Peddler's Village and New Hope. Shopping. Wineries. No shortage of things to do. But we really enjoyed spending time together here, making memories. This is a great place to do that. Highly recommended."

  • Fun for winter

"We stayed over the New Year. Lovely and quiet place to get work done. Near Ringing Rocks and Frenchtown for culture and tourism. Good parking. Lovely fireplace. LARGE kitchen very useful for all the gang. Hope to stay there again."

  • Simply lovely!

"We were thrilled to find such a cozy, comfortable and private retreat while still being so close to everything you could possibly need. The surrounding views are so peaceful yet you can be in Frenchtown within minutes for dining, shopping, etc. The interior of the carriage house is immaculately clean, well decorated and extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the gas fireplace as it was perfect on chilly nights! The kitchenette was very handy, too. Another notable feature - the high ceilings and large windows which add even more ambiance to this already pretty space. It was a pleasure meeting the owners. They are very warm, kind people. We hope to return sometime soon. Very pleased with this experience."
