  • Peaceful and welcoming

"We can only confirm the highly positive review we have read about this property. We felt really welcome and everything was done to make us feel comfortable. You should know that of the two bedrooms upstairs, the first one (through which you must go to reach bedroom number 2) has no door to the stairs. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole house is nicely decorated. We enjoyed walking along the Delaware canal directly accessible and seating on the very lovely deck over the river. We had a lovely breakfast at the Homestead store (30 minutes walk along the canal) and a really fine dinner in the Milford house in Milford. We can only recommend the place, really picturesque barn and lovely stay. Beatrice and Family"

  • Excellent Holiday Weekend Stay!

"We had a wonderful stay at this quaint farmhouse. The kitchen and bathrooms are very modern and updated and the house has a very cozy and clean feel. Judy stocked the house with cookies, orange juice and other snacks which was lovely to walk into. She even had firewood precut to build a bon fire and all of the materials to make the perfect s'mores. I highly recommend!"

  • Labor day weekend relaxation!

"I stayed at Joan's beautiful property for this past labor day weekend and have to say it was the perfect place to relax for the weekend. When we arrived, Joan had the fridge stocked with eggs, bacon, milk, butter, jam and bread. We were able to utilize the fishing equipment (although we couldn't catch the fish we saw jumping). The property is totally secluded other than Joan's beautiful personal home and some deer, groundhogs and other wildlife. Joan was also willing to extended us some courtesies which we really appreciated. Upon leaving Monday everyone in my group said they could not wait to come back and relax again soon."
