  • Amazing Anniversary Weekend in Philadelphia

"I have booked through VRBO many times both within the United States as well as Internationally, and always had excellent experiences. This property however set the bar that much higher for other properties in the future and exceeded my expectations in every way possible! Kristie is a phenomenal host and was very communicative throughout the booking process as well as throughout our stay. We loved the location of this property as it allowed us to travel "like a local" and be more off the beaten path. We were able to walk and/or use the rideindego bike share system to get anywhere and everywhere during our stay and only needed a cab to get to and from the airport! The property was extremely clean and well maintained, and I especially appreciated that they even launder the comforter between guests. There wasn't a single thing that we needed that was not provided, and upon arrival we were greeted by a bottle of red wine! If we were to return to Philadelphia again this is without a doubt where we would stay. Thank you, Kristie!"

  • Beautiful South Philly Home

"Great house that is larger than it looks in the photos. In a fun part of town that has a good variety of options for food and bars, and is convenient to the rest of the city. Our host made sure we have everything we needed."

  • LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

"We arrived by air and after a short $8.00 ride on the SEPTA train we were just a couple blocks from the apartment. Right in Center City, you are a few blocks from Historic Independence Mall. Leave your car at home or in a nearby garage because the city bus or the Philly Phlash bus can take you to all the attractions for $5.00 a day. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby by for anything you would need. The apartment is beautifully decorated down to the last detail, even fresh cut flowers from the fist floor florist. The kitchen is so well equipped, you can bake a cake and decorate it with birthday candles. In the mood for a trifle? Well, there's a trifle bowl. The kitchenware is all new and high quality. The owner has supplied many of the basics, coffee, tea, sweeteners, spices, cooking oil, even snacks and a few groceries to get us started. There's a Wawa convenience store right around the corner for basic groceries. The bedroom was surprisingly quiet for the apartment's location. The bedding, top quality, 100% cotton sheets. The mattress a comfy pillow top. The sofa bed is new and it's mattress is a 4" memory foam. My adult daughter slept fine...most unusual for a sofa bed. The building only has three apartments, this one was on the second floor...we never heard any of the other tenants. Most important, the neighborhood feels safe, always lots of people on the street. We never encountered any problems at all, and never felt uneasy. If you're coming to Philly for any reason, this is the place to stay...you will not regret it."

  • Great location. Thoughtful touches.

"Sean' place was a great deal. It has 4 full size or bigger beds, in 3 rooms, so it fit us 7 adults comfortably. If we were stuck there in a storm, it might have been cramped living space, but it really was perfect for our needs. It is located just south of the action and is a nice neighborhood. (It's not a suburban street and there is a lot of traffic and a bunch garbage, but I felt safe). It is pretty convenient, and we walked almost everywhere. The metro subway is two blocks. Sean provided a bunch of touches, including chargers, snacks, coffee, and Xbox. The TV setup is confusing, and the lost Apple TV remote made it unusable. The only other negative is that we had trouble navigating the storage of our car. There is no on street parking, no off street space, and little guidance on garages. I would only suggest that suggestions be provided. But that is a minor inconvenience compared to the great time. Visit Monks for beer and Strangelove for an awesome dinner. Then go to Victors for a fun (and good dinner). Have fun."
