  • Beautiful! Private! Amazing property!

"Our family of 8 adults and 2 children stayed here in mid-June. Nancy, the property owner, was VERY accommodating. She made last-minute reservations for our family when plans fell through on another rental property. I'm honestly so happy that those plans fell through because we would have missed out on this amazing property. Nancy was super polite and made what could be an overwhelming process incredibly easy. We stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing! A summary of our stay includes: swimming in 2 of the 3 heated pools within the gated community (Minisink pool, located within 2 blocks of the property, was out favorite because it had a diving board!); playing basketball and hanging out by the lake, working out at the modern and fully equipped gym at the Lodge; taking advantage of Bingo night - also at the Lodge and mountain biking on the roads around the community neighborhood. There was never a dull moment. The house itself was incredible, as stated in previous reviews. The kids and adults alike LOVED the firepit (logs provided - SO awesome) and hot tub. Nancy emailed clear and concise instructions for taking care of the property before we arrived. They were very easy to follow. We will definitely be renting again! Highly recommended!!"

  • A Step back in time 100 years

"We had a great time with our five kids. The kids are free to roam at this family farm nested in the heart of a fertile eastern Amish Mennonite valley. Watch the cows be milked and if you are lucky, a calf born. Family is super nice, warm and respectful. Great views and gentle breezes at the apartment overlooking 100 acres of alfalfa, wheat and corn. Shops and tag sales are five miles away. We plan on coming back!"

  • perfect for large groups

"We stayed at the house with a group of 14 people (including kids). The house appeared to be bigger than what it looked in the pictures. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do. Between the playroom in the basement, hot tub, sauna, grill, bar area and Hideout community amenities there is plenty to keep everyone in the group occupied. It is an older house, however it is kept in a very good condition. Kitchen is fully stacked with pots and pans, plates, cup and silverware - there is absolutely no need to bring your own.Upstairs area could be dangerous to the little kids, but owner did warn us abut it prior to the booking and provide baby gates to prevent kids from running up the stairs unattended. Stephen (owner) leaves you detailed instructions about the house and we were able to get in touch with him immediately after we accidentally set off the alarm."
