  • Perfect Family Vacation Spot

"Our family (6 adults & 3 kids) rented for a long winter weekend. Immediately upon opening the door I felt relaxed and happy that we rented this home. The house is GREAT - clean, well kept, well furnished and super comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms had plenty of space and lots of options for a large or multi-family gathering. LOVED that linens and towels were provided. Kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking utensils and appliances were updated and easy to use. The location is convenient to all the Camelback skiing activities, and the community has an indoor pool which came in handy for small children. Best part of the rental, though, was the owner, Tom. He was very easy to work with and super helpful. He was genuinely interested in making sure our family had the best stay possible - and that is something you don't get from a rental agency. We hope to be back again next winter."

  • Great vacation in Lake Harmony

"3 couples with MANY young children found the perfect house to fit all of our needs. It contained all of the necessary essentials and the layout/space was absolutely perfect for all. Barry has been extremely accommodating and responsive and in general a true pleasure to deal with. Would definitely rent this property again in the future!"

  • Peaceful respite

"An excellent getaway from all of the clatter of daily living. If you want you can simply sit on the deck and watch the river go by. ( My brother in law did this) Or you can hike and climb to your hearts content. ( We did). My husband greatly enjoys the nearby golfing at Everett, Bedford, and close by Cacapon. It was pretty hot ( we thought we left the heat behind in Florida???) at 90 degrees so we didn't use the bike trails though we have in the past. The river was low but we caught lots and lots of fish. We did raft a bit ( our dog greatly enjoyed floating down the river on my stomache) but we didn't use the provided canoes. We love to build bonfires and there is both a nice pit riverside and one on the paved patio. It was just a bit too hot for a fire. We did cook quite a lot and the kitchen is well equipped. We ferried back and forth to a cottage owned by relatives a few miles away so we did a lot of local visiting and sightseeing. A very good 9 days...you could spend a month here and never get bored. Next year we will visit in spring and bring our kayaks.( One more thing...If you have never had a gob be sure and buy a few at the Cogos or Sheetz. Great for breakfast or dessert with a glass of milk or cup of coffee!)"
