  • Cozy Home with Lots of Room

"We arrived at the home in a rainstorm. Luckily the people across the street were kind enough to show us where we should park our cars. The house is very nice with lots of antique touches on the wall and very cozy. It is an old farmhouse as people have indicated so you need to get used to the little steps up between rooms. The backyard is wonderful and our dog really enjoyed running around in it. The home is well appointed -- we discovered the CD stereo with lots of CDs to choose from -- it was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed eating and talking around the large dining room table. The beds were just great -- super comfy mattresses and sheets! Everything was clean and as described. The only thing missing was soap in the upstairs bathroom to wash your hands -- but not a big deal! Cynthia was very responsive with any questions via email and the lockbox makes coming and going easy. I would recommend it for any group!"

  • Fantastic hosts and beautiful home

"We rented this Ski In/Out Townhouse for a large family Christmas Ski Trip. The host was incredibly responsive, detailed, and accommodating to us, providing us with all the information we would need to get to the home and get comfortable while there. The house itself is beautifully decorated, with comfortable furniture, a well stocked kitchen, and the space we needed to get in and out of our ski gear. We loved being just a short walk (less than 50 yards) from the ski trail (a Green) that connected to a small lift that is tucked away from the main lodge but that had a ticket office so we could grab our lift tickets each day. It was easy to get to the main lodge either skiing or driving. Being right on the ski trail made it incredibly easy to pop in and out for lunch and snacks, thus saving us a trip to the resort restaurants, which tended to be packed during our visit. The homeowners provided pretty much everything we needed to cook for the week except the food, and we had several large family meals. The dining room seats eight and the kitchen island seats five so there was more than enough seating for our group. The two master bedrooms are well appointed, with comfortable King beds, lots of storage, and private bathrooms. The bunk room was great for the kids and has its own bathroom as well, which it shares with a large sleeping loft with a pull out sofa. The kids loved being able to spread out between the loft and the bunk room. There is also a 1/2 bath off the open living/kitchen area that our large group appreciated as we had multiple people showering or using the bathrooms at the same time when we would come in off the slopes or from the hot tub. This is one of the few rentals we found that had a private hot tub, which was great after a long day on the mountain. Overall this is a fantastic property with wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Seven Springs."

  • IBO World Championships Weekend

"Gordon, We had a great time at your property. The facilities were everything that we needed for our stay, minus an archery range (can't expect everything). The hot tub was a nice addition for a number of our crew. We had plenty of space for everyone. Also, thank you for your availability and quick response for the one mechanical issue we had, which we were back up and running in no time. Thanks again! Jim"

  • President's Day Ski Weekend

"My girls and I had a wonderful time staying at Alpine Lodge over the President's Day weekend. I can not thank Jack enough for being so accommodating. We all know it has been an extremely unseasonably warm winter. The forecast over President's Day weekend was no different. I simply asked Jack if we could come in a day early because the conditions were going to be a lot better (22 degrees ) and leave a day early. He very quickly responded that it was not a problem and we were welcome to stay through Monday without any extra charge. We arrived on Thursday, everything was just perfect cold temperatures, lots of snow, and a well stocked condo right on the slopes. It is truly a ski in/out unit! As Advertised!!! The girls and I immediately hit the slopes! I even met Jack at the Foggy Google for a frothy beer and a quick visit! Jack was the most accommodating owner I have ever worked with, I would definitely recommend staying at Alpine Lodge. I know we will return again next year! Leslie"
