  • Beautiful cabin in a quiet peaceful area.

"Being from New Zealand, we feel very lucky to have found this fabulous cabin on the Internet. Penny was so helpful and responsive via email, while we sorted things out. We found the cabin to be very clean with everything provided for. It was easy to find using our google maps, but with good instructions, it would be no problem. We enjoyed staying around on the property each evening, usually having a BBQ, hence we didn't check out any local eating places for evening meals. It was very easy access to some great walking and visiting different parts of that beautiful area around Wellsboro. We would certainly recommend this cabin to any of our friends and relatives. • Romantic, Secluded, Large, Rustic Cabin

"This is a large cabin perfect for a get-away. The pictures do not do it justice. The inside looks like a log cabin, with lots of images of bears, weaved baskets, handmade chairs and rustic cabin walls but with updated amenities. The kitchen has a glass stove-top, a microwave, a huge copper farm-house sink and a dishwasher to make cleanup quick and easy. There are plenty of dishes, pots, cake pans, and tons of utensils. This is a kitchen you will enjoy cooking in even on vacation. There is a perfect view of the outdoors from not just the dining room table but any room you are in. The porch is a wonderful area to have coffee, as you enjoy the sun brighten the sky and the morning, and watch the flying bugs come out at night. You will see birds, and squirrels, and you will hear chirping, and rustling of the leaves. If you are lucky you will see a black bear, or some deer. The handmade log spiral stair case leads you to a romantic bedroom that overlooks the living room. The bed is a queen, and there are 2 dressers... try to stay long enough to use them. The bathroom is accommodating with a shower a large sink lots of towels and a laundry room in case you need to do your laundry. This is a hidden gem, don't pass it up."

  • Wonderful place for family reunion!

"We had 35 people ranging from less than a year to 86. Very comfy, big kitchen, lots of places to lounge together or separately inside and out. The kitchen arrangement allowed for cooking while still being with everyone. We had a bonfire every night. Lots of electrical outlets. Nooks for book reading, places to walk. Close to Titusville to pick up groceries. So nice to not have to be split up at hotels and to have time together, in small groups, or privacy. A most lovely reunion. Would definitely do it again. Whitney was very flexible and responsive. We rented a lift chair for one of the elders and had no trouble with delivery and pickup. Plenty of room for eating, storing food, two refrigerators in house with kitchen."
