  • Gorgeous oasis in the woods served as the perfect, relaxing getaway

"We decided to book this cabin as a meeting point as it's approximately halfway between our friends' home and our home. We both have dogs (Dalmatian and Blue Tick Coonhound) and loved that the cabin was dog-friendly! The yard is perfect for letting the dogs run to get their energy out, and there are so many dog-friendly hiking trails a short drive from the house. The house was clean and had everything that we needed with great instructions on how to enter, what to do to connect to Wifi and what to do when leaving the house. We definitely would recommend this to anyone who is looking to get away as a family of 4 or with another couple. The only thing we wished was there was a lake to swim in after the hike! We also missed the creature comfort of having a dishwasher, but otherwise no complaints! We would definitely consider booking again and are so appreciative of Penny and Rob."

  • awesome!

"it was everything we hoped for and more...the pictures on line didn't do it justice...the decor, the setting, the workmanship, all excellent...a well stocked kitchen and such natural beauty...the wifi didn't work but we could live without it...would definitely stay there again!"

  • We had a great Week

"The cabin was beautiful. Everything we needed. Quiet setting with trail behind the cabin. Great place to walk or bike. We were able to access the water at the church down the road for a short kayak trip and tubing. Water low due to dry weather. Like having a cabin of my own with out all the work! Hope to come back maybe in the winter for snowmobiling."

  • Magic.

"Myself and 3 other friends were looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Philadelphia and our jobs that require us glued to a computer monitor. The whole area of Northern PA is intoxicating, almost as if you're in a foreign country. Bob escorted us to our cabin and gave us a small briefing of the area before leaving us to our baser instincts. The silence is almost maddening if you haven't had peace in quite some time. It actually takes a few hours to adjust to the calmness of everything but eventually you feel the stress melt off your shoulders. Words cannot describe how beautiful the cabin and surrounding area is. We spent an entire night building a camp fire and just taking everything in. There is a manicured plot of land that is great to lay a blanket on and just look at the stars. All appliances and furniture in the cabin are very homey and up to date, but I can assure you that you will not be spending much time inside. We all had a deep feeling of bitter sweet sadness when returning to work on Monday after spending a mere weekend in this wonderful cabin. It is truly an experience of a lifetime with friends or family and I highly recommend it."
