  • Perfect spot to make vacation memories!

"This house offers everything as described! We just got back from staying at this amazing home on Bonnet Shores which provided a beautiful place for family bonding and memory making. There are 14 people in our group ranging from 4-64 and there was plenty of room for everyone. We took advantage of the yard for games, the kitchen for luau and mardi-gras parties, and the large table for family dinners and card games. Morning coffee on the deck with the sounds of the ocean was a favorite of the early risers. The owners are friendly and helpful and the house is in pristine condition with plenty of parking. During our stay we visited Newport, Point Judith as well as 3 easy to get to beaches, Narragansett Town Beach was our favorite. Hope to vacation here again next summer!"

  • Delightful summer home!

"This Bonnet Shores property is a delight! The open, airy feel of the living spaces paired with the secluded, private screen and outdoor porches made for a comfortable stay. This home provides all the amenities, and the location was perfect for accessing beaches or points of interest, while maintaining a neighborhood feel. Owner Richard was readily accessible to answer questions or provide help, while still allowing for total privacy. I enjoyed my stay, and would highly recommend this rental property!"

  • Relaxing summer getaway

"We had two families travel to R.I. this summer for a combined family vacation. This house was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay, as it was everything we were expecting. The location was within a 7-10 minute walk (with toddlers in strollers and hubby pushing beach carts) to the private Kelly Beach for swimming and lounging and the Long Beach from where you can see the bridge to Newport-beautiful views all around, even during the walks. So again, everything was relaxing. The property was overall clean and very well maintained. Plus, cleaning supplies were provided to maintain the space while we stayed-which was so helpful to me. The owners were wonderful, very available for any of our questions. I would highly recommend this property to a friend or relative, I might even return myself-though I am on a quest to visit all 50 states with my kids over the next number of years. But again, we had such a lovely time, I think we will have to return. The house is also in a great location to visit other cities beyond Narragansett. It only took 30 minutes to get to Newport, which was definitely worth visiting. The wharf and the boat ride to Fort Adams was memorable. My husband and I really appreciated the fact that we were set apart from the bustling downtown, yet able to reach it within minutes by driving. We enjoyed the many good seafood restaurants, again with great views, throughout the island. The kids enjoyed playing a few different well painted parks, and the adults enjoyed the walks, the views and the food. A lovely trip!"

  • Comfy contemporary!

"What a fantastic, comfy home! Love the new, down-filled couches and the new appliances. We brought our dog and the large fenced-in yard was a bonus, aling with the sliders off the wrap-around deck. Would have to agree with everything the previous reviewer said (Brenda M), except we thought the beach was too far of a walk for us...although we did see the bus come around quite often on the weekend. We went to Scarborough Beach which was a 15 minute drive along Route 1A which is a beautiful, scenic route along the coastline. Get to the beaches early as they fill up fast. Janet is a sweetheart and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We would even consider renting in the Winter, as we love Rhode Island in the offseason. The house has a fireplace as well. Newport is a short ride away if your interested in sight-seeing, shopping, etc. The Narragansett coastline is quite picturesque also. Highly recommend!"
