  • We love it here!

"We love Bonnet! This home was perfect for our family of 5! It was a quick bike ride to and from Kelly beach. The home had an outdoor shower which made it quick and easy to get all the sand off from our daily beach visits. It was a very hot mugy 1st week and the air conditioners in each room made it comfortable. The open kitchen dinning and living room was perfect for family time each night, we played board games together and watch the Olympic Games. Brickleys ice cream was a fun after dinner treat, we also went to the coast guard house for dinner and seaside on the pier, walked the small shops and enjoyed the sunset view. One day we took a break from the beach and drove to the mystic aquarium in CT, beautiful place great for kids, we all enjoyed it very much. Roches market had great fresh meats which I picked up daily for dinner and grilled. One night we took the kids to adventure land for mini golf, and bumper boats, warning, you get really wet! I would recommend this home for a rental, I know I will be back next year. Thank you for having such a wonderful place for my family to stay and enjoy RI!"

  • Beautiful stay in Bonnet Shores!

"We loved our stay at this home on Bonnet Shores. The house has a gorgeous view of the bay with some boats always moored and two bridges visible from the porch. We spent as much time as possible sitting on the front porch gazing at the view and watching the local bunny romp in the grassy lawn. The interior is well-equipped with comfortable couches and beds. We were traveling with two small children and were able to put the baby in a pack-n-play in the den that attaches to the downstairs bedroom, and there was still an additional living room with a TV available. Our older son loved the owner's extensive Disney videotape collection which bought us some time each morning when we were preparing to go to the beach. There is also a washer/dryer and wifi which was great. If you haven't stayed in Bonnet Shores before, it is a great location. Near Dunkin Donuts, Roche's (a great grocery store) and the town of Narragansett, but still feels relaxed. We hope to stay again next year!"

  • Great time for all!

"My sister, my niece, my daughters and I had a wonderful time at this Bonnet Shores house. It was clean, bright, roomy and well supplied. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Air conditioners and fans helped keep us cool during a hot week. Loved the outside shower, too. Nice big kitchen table that we really enjoyed. Deck was great for cocktails and bunny watching. Sheets and towels were supplied, but I couldn't really tell that from the web site and brought my own. All in all, we had a lovely stay in this beautiful area. I would consider renting again. My only suggestion would be to have a few more lamps for those of us who like to read at night."

  • Awesome beach house- Clean, plenty of space, great neighborhood!

"This home at Allagash Trail was everything we needed for our family &friends for our beach vacation. The home is large, airy and very clean. My family was pleasantly surprised with the layout. 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs w/ full bath. The kitchen table was able to seat 6 comfortably (we actually sat 8 sometimes and just borrowed the deck chairs). 2 seats at the kitchen island as well. We had 4 teen boys w/ us and the downstairs was AWESOME for them. It was almost like they weren't even in the same house as us. The adults had the upstairs living area & kids had the downstairs. No fighting over the TV. :) There are 2 bedrooms downstairs w/ separate living room and good sized bathroom w/ a stand up shower & washer/dryer. Lets not forget about the outdoor shower. Very useful for when you come home from the sandy beach. Actually, my 7 year old son used that shower every day-he loved it. The private beach associated with the house is about a 4 min drive or a 15 min walk. This walk is probably fine for adults & older kids, but we had 1, 4 and 7 year olds with us...no problem...we just packed up the car & dropped everyone off at the beach, parked back at the house & 2 adults drove the bikes back to the beach. The private beach is BEAUTIFUL. Very clean and not overcrowded. Great for younger kids as there are not a ton of waves. There are other beaches within a 10-15 min drive from the house that were all great. Things to do while your here: Definitely visit Brickley's Ice cream- we walked there twice during our stay-about a 5 min walk from the house & great ice cream! There are a few restaurants right on the main road near the house-we also tried Rhody Joe's on Kingstown Rd that was great (10 min drive from house). Great family scene w/ games for the kids (pool, basketball, air hockey) & a cool bar area for the adults. Food was good, drinks were good, atmosphere great. It rained one day while we were here, so we tried indoor rock climbing at Rock Spot Climbing. It's about a 15 min drive from house & the kids had a great time- this is something that kids 5 and up can do along with adults. In fact, I think my husband has found a new hobby. :) This place has crazy hours too- they are open till midnight! Keep an eye out on groupon or rush49.com for discounts. It was about $20 each for us, but sometimes there are 1/2 off deals going on. We were very happy at this beach house & we plan to come back next year!"
