  • Gorgeous Island Getaway

"A beautiful home, with a nautical feel, this house has everything you could want to get away with close friends or family. The house is perfectly situated between Great Salt Pond and the ocean, and there isn't a bad view anywhere on the property! Plus, with it close to town, it's an easy walk to just about anything. The house is fully stocked with all the cookware and linens you could need, and a cozy fireplace helps the nights the ocean breeze gets a bit chilly. We stayed with friends for a winter escape and it was so difficult to leave! Kirsten was an excellent host - her response time is quick and unparalleled in my past experiences with home away or airbnb. She is kind, thoughtful, and makes a vacation at her property an easy decision!"

  • Comfy, cozy and charming period home.

"We had a memorable stay in this beautifully presented antique home. Everything we needed and everything in its place -- even milk, juice and coffee provided for our first morning! The nicely furnished upstairs bedroom is reached by a twisting old staircase and is open and airy. Memory foam on the bed made for an excellent night's sleep. Ensuite bathroom is supplied with very nice soaps, lotions and shampoos and thick towels. Downstairs living area is comfortable with overstuffed couch and chairs, table/chairs and lots of windows looking out at the lovely water view. Kitchen is small but fully equipped and a pleasure to use. The outdoor area was a highlight -- plenty of comfortable seating and lots of green lawn alongside a tidal pond full of fish and fishing birds, very exciting to watch. To top it all off, the main village area of Wickford is just one block away. So much fun to be able to just walk to everything -- town dock, restaurants, shops, kayaking, and the quaint antique houses in the historic district. We will definitely book again."

  • Spacious beach home getaway

"From the low traffic area location , to the overall warm welcome of this beach home, one would be hard pressed to find a better spot to enjoy your school year as a student at a nearby college, a family vacation, or space from your real life to take a few days off and just chill. The house is about 250 steps from a small beach where you can enjoy the sunset or play horseshoes. Back at the house though , is a full driveway ,kitchen, three bathrooms, the perfect sized deck made for multiple activities (such a grilling, lounging, or eating) , a lofty lounge area and several cute quaint cottage rooms. The home is also full of beautiful collected items/antiques. The house is safe and secure. Also off a main road so food is right around the corner and so is Scarborough beach! We had a wonderful time!!!!"

  • Loved it!

"Warm, inviting cottage in a great area. Has everything you need for a fun family vacation. Lovely deck and fenced yard for our little dog except he figured out in 2 seconds that he could fit through the slats in the fence so he had to be watched at all times! Owners were easy to deal with and responsive. I would give this cottage 5 stars except for one thing. Two of the 3 bedrooms have bunk beds so would not be workable for some groups. Would be better if one set of bunks was separated into singles. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives."
