  • cozy, new england in the wintertime!

"We wanted to check the area out for future visits and have a quiet getaway for ourselves. Beautiful house in a gorgeous setting...fields, farms, coastal vistas. It must be delightful in the summer. The house had all of the things we needed for cooking, relaxing, etc. and seems spacious enough for a 'mob', especially when the porches and outdoors are available in warmer weather. Special find in a quaint spot."

  • A perfect place to relax and explore the sites or MA and RI

"The beautifully renovated farmhouse offered plenty of space for our family. The house was very clean and well appointed with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. We spent a couple of days visiting the Newport mansions and the pier and other days wondering around the quaint town of Little Compton and Westport. What made the trip extra special was our hostess, Paris St Pierre. She was always ready to help to assure our vacation was special. She also gave my daughter a lesson on her beautiful well cared for horse, Patriclus. We will not soon forget our trip to Little Compton and surely plan to come back."

  • Bliss!

"We were a family of 6, looking for a quiet week of beach and reading before the autumn madness. The Peckham farmhouse completely fit the bill. The front porch looked out over a cow field and water, and we biked or walked to Walker's to pick up fresh produce and prepared foods. The beaches were glorious. We didn't want to be near any commerce, so Little Compton was perfect for us: library, general store, a few restaurants and a great consignment shop. Bring or buy groceries on your way. The nearest market is a bit of a ride. Rick Peckham was such a lovely host--very responsive to all our questions and he made great recommendations as well. We cooked at home, but the final night splurged at The Red Dory. Truly memorable. Finally--the house. Rambling, immaculate, great sheets, pillows and lighting. What a jewel of a rental and town."

  • A great inn

"My siblings and I spent two nights at the inn and the setting was perfect, as we were traveling in from different areas to visit our Mom in Westport. The inn offered both charm and convenience for our families -- tons of space, a well-stocked kitchen, great common area, lovely porch, WiFi, air conditioning, and plenty of privacy with its many bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is great; beautifully rural, but close to stores and restaurants. The owners were attentive and helpful, although we only had one small question, which they answered immediately. It was a great gathering spot for our families, and we would definitely stay here again."
